Pulled into church this morning and found our parking lot covered in chalk art from local kids.

Flowers, rainbows, hearts, "Jesus," "Faith, Hope, Happiness," and "Treat Others With Love."

It may seem like a small thing, but it brightened my entire day.

Thank you to the children who took the time to leave these reminders. Sometimes God uses the smallest hands to leave the biggest blessings.

"Out of the mouths of children..." (Psalm 8:2)

Heavenly Father,
Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Thank You for their sacrifice, their courage, and love for others. Comfort the families who carry their loss, and help us to live with gratitude, humility, and unity. May we never take freedom for granted, and may we seek Your peace in our nation and in our hearts.

God is a God of second chances.

In Jonah 3, we see that even after running, resisting, and failing, God calls Jonah again — and lives are changed because of obedience.

Maybe you’ve felt far from God. Maybe you’ve wondered if He could still use you. The message of Jonah reminds us that His grace is greater than our past.
