188 Years in Celina, 100 Years in This Sanctuary. Generations of Faith.

On Sunday, October 4, we will gather for one special combined worship service celebrating 100 years of worship, prayer, music, ministry, weddings, funerals, baptisms, confirmations, Christmas Eves, Easter mornings, and generations of faith in this sanctuary.

Join us at 10:00am for worship, followed by a carry-in dinner.

Bring a dish to share based on the first letter of your last name:
A–E: Salad
F–K: Dessert
L–Q: Side Dish
R–Z: Fruit

The main dish and drinks will be provided.

Come celebrate where God has been faithful, where God is working now, and the generations still to come.

A Bible of their very own! On Sunday, October 18, we will celebrate our 2nd graders during worship and present each of them with a Bible.

This is more than giving them a book. It is our way of saying: God’s Word is for you, your church is here to help you discover it and we cannot wait to see where your faith takes you.

Parents and 2nd graders are invited to join us during either the 9:00 or 10:30 worship service.

Please RSVP through our website, app, or the QR code so we can have a Bible ready for your child.

Will you be a Shepherd?
You don’t need to be a teacher.
You don’t need to know all the right words.
You don’t even need to know the child or student you’ll be paired with yet.
You just need to be willing to pray, encourage, and show up.

Our Sheep & Shepherds ministry pairs adults in our church with kids and students, age 3 through college, for a year of intentional prayer and encouragement.

Your job is simple:
Pray for your sheep.
Encourage them.
Show up when you can.
Remind them that their church family cares about them.

Do you love to sing? Come sing with us!

Sanctus Choir rehearsals start September 9 and there is always room for another voice.

Whether you’ve sung in choir for years, haven’t sung since high school, or just love music and want to give it a try, you are welcome. We rehearse every Wednesday from 6:00–7:00pm, preparing music to help lead in our 9am traditional worship.

And here’s your assignment this week: BRING A FRIEND!

No audition. No need to be a professional. Just come ready to sing, laugh, learn some music, and be part of something wonderful.
