Peace: More Than a Feeling
Peace means wholeness
When all the broken parts are brought back together.
We live in a world that talks about peace—but still lives in anxiety, stress, and confusion. Many people love God but struggle with worry, guilt, and restless minds.
There are two kinds of peace every person needs:
• Peace with God (Romans 5:1)
• Peace within (Philippians 4:6–7)
You need both.
1. Peace With God – The Foundation
Romans 5:1
We have peace with God through Jesus.
Peace with God is about relationship, not feelings.
Because of Jesus:
• You are forgiven
• You are accepted
• You are not rejected
• The war is over
You don’t earn this peace.
You don’t lose it when you fail.
It comes by faith, not performance.
When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He meant it.
2. Peace Within – The Daily Experience
Philippians 4:6–7
Pray instead of worrying.
Thank God.
Trust Him.
Then His peace will guard your heart and mind.
Peace is not life without problems.
Peace is God standing guard over your mind in the storm.
3. How We Walk in Peace
Paul gives us a pattern:
• Pray instead of panic
• Thank instead of complain
• Trust instead of control
What you think affects how you feel.
A renewed mind leads to a peaceful life. (Philippians 4:8)
4. What Steals Our Peace
We lose peace when:
• We replay old guilt
• We try to control everything
• We believe lies instead of truth
God says:
“I forgive you.”
“I am with you.”
“You are not alone.”
