"True mission work involves entering into the world of a lost person, and we get to be missionaries in places where the enemy has had his way for far too long. I enjoy being able to talk with students about Jesus, see them open up about their lives, and watch the light bulb go off when Holy Spirit starts to draw them near."

From the bottom of our hearts… THANK YOU!

We had our 2026 Comedy Cafe’s in Cedar Rapids and Manchester this past weekend and saw God MOVE through testimonies, laughter and delicious desserts. We are so grateful for all of the support we received and can’t wait to invest your investments right back into the 11-19 year olds in YOUR neighborhoods. In OUR schools. In GOD’S people!

“Wednesdays are the high point of my week! The middle schoolers at Vernon have such energy and ask some really good questions. I remember several teachers who invested in me when I was at Vernon (yes, I attended there 50 years ago) and I hope one day these students will think back and remember the goofy old guy who loved to play games with them and talk about Jesus!”

“The biggest surprise hasn’t been my mentorship or modeling of faith, but the students' role of that in my life. Many times, students I work with offer not just solid answers, but ones I needed to hear and that show the depth of their relationship with God. They have a desire to share with others and an intimacy with God that is incredibly beautiful to witness.”

Thank you to our amazing volunteers who give of their time and energy at different ministry sites across Eastern Iowa. We are so grateful for each of you and the care you show the young people we seek to reach!
