New Liturgy Sing-A-Long at 9:45 AM
This week, we'll be introducing Setting 11 from All Creation Sings, a joyful liturgy rooted in the worship traditions of Peru. Come a little early to learn the music, practice the responses, and become familiar with the songs before worship begins. No experience is needed—just come ready to sing!

Worship begins at 10:00 AM
In this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus is interrupted again and again by people seeking healing, hope, and mercy. What looks like interruption becomes an opportunity for grace. Christ still meets us in the unexpected moments of our lives.

Join us as we gather around Word and Sacrament, learn new songs of faith, and celebrate the good news of God's mercy.

Pentecost Sunday is here — and this morning will be filled with joy.

Join us at 10am at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids as we celebrate the affirmation of baptism (confirmation) of four of our youth. This service was deeply shaped by them and will be led by them. Our confirmands planned worship, wrote prayers, selected scripture, and chose hymns centered on baptism, fire, and the joy of the Holy Spirit.

Come pray. Come sing. Come celebrate what God is continuing to do in and through the next generation.

We give thanks for the life of longtime member Kathryn “Kay” Possehl, who was called home to be with our Lord on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Kay was a beloved part of the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church family for many years. We entrust her now to the promise of the resurrection she celebrated so deeply.

We invite all who knew and loved Kay to gather in remembrance and hope:
