Interim Mass Schedule for the Cedar Falls Area Pastorate

The Interim Mass Schedule has been created for the Cedar Falls Area Pastorate. The plan is to utilize this interim schedule beginning July 15th of this year through January 15, 2027.

Both the weekend and weekday schedules will be published this coming Monday, June 1, on the Archdiocese website and social media channels, as well as the Journey in Faith website. There will be an insert in next week’s bulletin with all the Mass times for our pastorate for you to have at home.

The Interim Weekend Mass Schedule is as follows:

Saturday:
• 5:00 pm at St. Patrick, Cedar Falls
• 5:00 pm at St. Mary, Waverly
Sunday:
• 8:00 am at St. Patrick, Cedar Falls
• 9:00 am at Holy Family- St. Gabriel, Reinbeck
• 9:00 am at St. Mary, Waverly
• 10:00 am at St. Patrick, Cedar Falls
• 11:00 am at St. Stephen the Witness
• 7:00 pm at St. Stephen the Witness (only during the school year)

This interim schedule will be evaluated throughout the next six months for any needed adjustments. Please be patient and grace-filled as we give the proposed schedule time to work. The schedules were created with great care and with input from each parish’s leadership. Recognizing that this schedule is a change for many, I ask you to approach this transition with understanding, flexibility, and a shared spirit of unity. As we continue our journey forward together, may we remain focused on our common mission and on the joy of celebrating the Eucharist together.

NEW PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN!

Here's a look at construction on our north parking lot as of mid-week. Quite a bit of progress in the first week of construction. Let's pray for continuing good weather for the workers!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR MATTHEW 25

Matthew 25 is looking for new volunteers to help fill phone volunteer and pantry volunteer positions on Mondays and Thursdays. Pantry Volunteer opportunities exist outside of those days as well.
Phone volunteers would be responsible for taking Matthew 25 client phone calls, checking voicemails and preparing client paperwork for their visits to receive food boxes. Pantry volunteer responsibilities include helping to restock the pantry and the Matthew 25 freezers, preparing food boxes, restocking pantry shelves, helping clients, etc.

Order your St. Patrick shirts this week!

Our parish will again be offering St. Patrick shirts. For summer wear, we are making just the short-sleeve T-shirts and the polo shirts available. The short-sleeve shirts are just $11 and the polos are $25 -- same prices as last year. Prices are $2 more for 2XL; $4 more for 3XL, and $6 more for 4XL. Last day to order online will be Sunday, May 31. The last day to order in-person at the church will be Monday, June 1.
