Candeo Families:

We are served by some great volunteers in Candeo Kids every week. Some of them have graduated and are leaving the area - join us in thanking them and praying for them in their transition.

Here is a letter we sent to our volunteers.

"A podcast challenged me ( both as a parent and also as a leader within our church ) when I first heard it over a year ago. The overall question was should children sit in church with their parents? There might not be a one size fits all answer, but there are principles that are true regarding the parent's role, church's role, etc. I would encourage you to take 27 minutes to listen to this."

"Should children sit in church with their parents, or attend children's church?" A listener posed this question in a recent email. In this episode, we discuss how to best involve children in the life and ministry of the church.

Candeo Families - The month of December is a great time to be intentional as a family to read, pray, and sing together.

Each Sunday, our church is handing out a new advent card for you to go through. If you want some next steps to do with your kids, see this doc (will update each week) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QxAk5rJaCbJebTcmKZSgVoxVv8SfIGqdNw978ap-tj4/edit?usp=sharing

Also, the women of Candeo (thanks Sarah Hering) have put together a great reading list that you can start tomorrow - If you want to do more, I would encourage you to read these as a family as well (see pic)
