Please join us in celebrating Bailey Stenhaug as our newest Preschool Coordinator! Our sweet Miss Ali is moving with her beautiful daughter to Idaho, where her husband has relocated for work! What a gift she has been to our ministry. You’ll still see her serving with your kids for a couple more months before the big move! Be sure to give her an extra big hug when you see her!

Many of you already know and love Bailey from her past couple of years serving as our HPKids Discipleship Coach- her heart for our littlest learners and their families has been evident from day one, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her step into this new role!

A note from Bailey:

“I cannot wait to walk alongside you in one of the greatest discipleship journeys God calls us into: parenthood.

Thank you for trusting me- and the entire HPKids team- to walk alongside your child and your family. We truly don’t take that responsibility lightly, and I am so excited for everything God has in store for this next season!

And I want to give you an invitation: my door is always open.

If you ever have questions about a Sunday or Wednesday, need help navigating discipleship conversations at home, have ideas, concerns, or honestly just need someone to talk to- my door is always open. Ministry-related or not, I am here for you and your family!!

I cannot wait to see you all on September 13th for our official Fall Kickoff!

And hopefully I’ll see many of your kiddos again on Wednesday, September 16th for our Awana Kickoff!

🚨 TODDLER TUESDAYS ARE ALMOST HERE! 🚨

The countdown is on! ⏰💛 We’re kicking off Tuesday, September 15th from 9:00–10:30 AM at Highland Park Community Church, and then meeting EVERY TUESDAY after that (unless otherwise communicated)!

Toddler Tuesdays are more than just a play morning—it’s a community for you and your little one. A place to meet other parents, let the kiddos play, and enjoy a morning together without having to do it alone. 🫶

Come ready for:
🧸 Toys + play
🎨 Arts & crafts
🏰 Bounce houses
🍎 Snacks
☕ HOT coffee

Before you come, don’t forget these two important things:
📋 REGISTER: Everyone needs to complete a new registration for this year—even if you joined us last year!

🏰 BOUNCE HOUSE WAIVER: Everyone will need to complete a new waiver. We require a new waiver EVERY YEAR, so last year’s waiver won’t carry over.

What does it look like to trust God when life doesn’t go the way we planned?

This week, our adults and HPKids learned that God is in control, His wisdom is trustworthy, and we can follow Him even when we don’t understand what He’s doing. Abram trusted God’s promises—and his story reminds us that God is always faithful.

We’re so excited to kick off another year of Toddler Tuesdays on Tuesday, September 15th from 9:00–10:30 AM at Highland Park Community Church! And then, EVERY TUESDAY to follow unless otherwise communicated. 💛

Toddler Tuesdays are a place for toddlers AND their parents/guardians to connect, build community, and enjoy a morning together!
