What a great night of quality family time with our Anchor Cove family! ❤️

Our end-of-summer bonfire was filled with great conversations, laughter, and delicious food.

There’s nothing better than doing life together. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for this next season.

SOMEONE DISRESPECTS YOU.

And suddenly, all that “peace” disappears.

You snap.

You get defensive.

You say things you shouldn’t.

Then you blame them:

“Well, they started it.”

Maybe they did.

But they didn’t create your reaction.

THEY REVEALED IT. 😉

Think about a cup.

Someone bumps it—coffee spills.

Why?

Because coffee was already inside.

The bump didn’t put it there.

IT EXPOSED IT.

That’s what PRESSURE does to you.

It doesn’t create your anger.
It exposes it.

It doesn’t create your pride.
It exposes it.

It doesn’t create your bitterness.
It exposes it.

When life is comfortable,

almost anything can look like character.

But let someone disrespect you. 🤨

Let someone betray you. 😢

Let your plans collapse. 😱

Let God say, “Wait.” 🤔

Shake the cup.

Then see what spills.

Because you can look patient—
until someone tests you.

You can look humble—
until someone corrects you.

You can look forgiving—
until someone hurts you.

You can look faithful—
until God doesn’t answer the way you wanted.

COMFORT CAN HIDE WHAT PRESSURE REVEALS. ‼️

So here’s the question:

What spills out of you when you’re shaken?

Because whatever keeps coming out of you

is probably what you’ve been filling yourself with.

And if you don’t like the answer,

don’t blame the bump.

Change what you’re pouring in.

Less bitterness.

More gratitude.

Less pride.

More humility.

Less fear.

More faith.

Less resentment.

More forgiveness.

Less of yourself.

More of Christ.

Because you don’t get to choose every hand that shakes your cup.

But you do get to choose what fills it.

And when life finally shakes you—

make sure what spills out looks like Jesus. 🤍🙏🏻
