We are excited to recognize Annie as our June Summit Student of the Month!

Annie is a brave, friendly, and caring member of our group. She is always willing to help others, especially the younger children. Whether she is assisting with projects or helping them plant Mother's Day flowers, Annie leads by example with a servant's heart.

Annie also encourages the older students to stay focused and pay attention during lessons and activities. She is an active participant who consistently raises her hand to answer questions during Bible lessons and is eager to learn more about God's Word.

Her kindness, leadership, and enthusiasm make a positive impact on everyone around her. We are thankful for the joy and encouragement Annie brings to Summit each week.

Every fall, our community comes together for the Pumpkin Picking Party — and it all starts with planting season!

Our mission team is looking for volunteers to help plant the pumpkin field sometime between June 1–6 (exact day will depend on weather conditions). This is a great opportunity for:

NHS/service hours
Students needing volunteer experience
Families
Anyone who wants to help with a fun community tradition

Whether you can help for a little while or the whole time, we’d love to have you join us as we kick off another pumpkin season together!

Jello Wars is this Sunday at 11:30!

Join us as we kick off summer with an afternoon of food, fun, and a little friendly chaos.

We'll start with an outdoor potluck lunch (hot dogs provided), then head into Jello Wars before wrapping up the day with an ultimate slip-and-slide.

Don't forget to bring:
• A dish to pass
• A white shirt for Jello Wars
• Clothes and shoes you don't mind getting messy
• A towel

All ages are welcome, so invite your friends and family and come ready for a great afternoon together. We can't wait to see you there!

There are children in Guatemala who go to bed hungry. Families living in homes held together by scraps of wood and tin. Kids longing to feel seen, loved, and valued.

And in February 2027, we have the opportunity to go.

Mayville Hilltop Community Church is partnering with Give & Teach for a mission trip to Guatemala from February 6–13, 2027. Together, we’ll serve through home construction, wood stove building, food distribution, VBS, prayer, and simply loving people the way Jesus did.

This isn’t just about building houses.
It’s about building hope.

It’s about showing a child they matter.
Praying with a hurting parent.
Sharing a meal with a family who has very little.
Being willing to step out in faith so others can experience the love of Christ in a real and personal way.

Not everyone is called to go, but everyone can be part of the mission.

Maybe God is calling you to serve.
Maybe He’s calling you to pray.
Maybe He’s placing it on your heart to help sponsor someone else so they can go and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we pause to reflect with gratitude for the sacrifices made for our freedom. We pray for comfort for the families who carry the weight of loss and for God’s peace to rest upon our nation.

Wishing everyone a safe, meaningful, and blessed Memorial Day from all of us at The Hilltop. ❤️
