Healing Waters Ministries Healing Waters Ministries was started by Jan Walterscheid. Andy and Angie Weisner will carry on this ministry and that legacy.

Their heart is to reach the broken, and show them the Father's love. Jan Walterscheid is the women’s pastor at Oasis Church in Carlsbad, NM. She has served Jesus for over 34 years and has a deep heritage in ministry. Jan walks in the Apostolic, Healing, and Prophet anointing’s. Her teaching is birthed from her intimate relationship with Jesus. Jan knows one word from the Father changes a person’s life. She seeks Heaven for direction and revelation in all things she has does. Jesus’ example in the bible as He arose in the morning to seek his Father in heaven in prayer, to listen to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and walk in his council each day is the example Jan shows all of us. Jan has many amazing stories of God’s goodness and direction in her personal life, profession as a nurse and Hospice director, as well her ministry. Testimonies of healings in her own life and families, as well as others she has prayed over. Jan’s ministry focuses on inner and physical healing. Jan’s heart’s desire for individuals, it to see their true identity and receive their full inheritance on earth, to become whole in their soul so they can walk victorious. To live by the spirit of God and walk in power and anointing to carry out their lives story. Through her stories of her personal testimony and those from her profession as a nurse working with the dying in hospice, Jan is able to convey God’s love message through these testimonies. Each week Jan ministers at her bible study held every Thursday at Oasis church to a group of women from all denominations throughout Carlsbad and the surrounding area. As a staff pastor at Oasis Church, she teaches a class to men and women on Wednesday evenings and is regularly scheduled to minister on Sunday mornings at Oasis Church. She also has the privilege to travel throughout the country and speak at conferences.

We were enjoying one of my mom’s sermons the other day, and something she said really hit my heart. I’ve been pondering it ever since.

How many times have I rushed through my “devotional time” just to get it done? How often have I memorized a scripture just so I could say I knew it—but didn’t take the time to chew on it, to meditate on it, to allow God to breathe on it?

When I was at Bible school, Papa Hagin taught us that it’s better to truly know a scripture inside and out than to “kind of” know a lot of scriptures. We can quote scripture, but if we’re not living it out or asking for deeper revelation so we can walk it out daily… it just makes us Pharisees.

Let’s dig into the Word! Let’s eat it, chew on it, meditate on it. And in the words of my mother…

Today the Word of God is becoming so alive in Andy and I’s spirits. The only way to get out of agreement with the curse is to apply His word and join your mind, will and emotions to His promises.

Proverbs 4:20 -24

When we seek His presence above all else, we step into the river of His goodness. In that river, everything grows and we begin to blossom. The weight of our surroundings fades, and we become more aware of His nearness than of our circumstances - and that is where change happens. From Faith - to Hope - to Reality!!
In the book Ezekiel chapter 47:9 its says “everything will live wherever the river goes.”

Just another day in Recife, Brazil traffic.

No matter what obstacle is in your way. God promises US in the book of Proverbs
that if WE put our Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean NOT on your own understanding, our own thoughts and agenda but in all your ways acknowledge and submit to him, and He will make YOUR paths straight.

We are holding tight to this scripture and declaring over our lives and Yours daily!! The Lord is faithful to Promises!!
