What a week at Youth Camp 2026!
I am overwhelmed by the goodness and faithfulness of God.
🔥 9 students either gave their lives to Jesus or recommitted their lives to Him.
🔥 3 students answered the call to full-time ministry.
🔥 4 students were filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Every night, God met us in a powerful way.
Night 1: “Scars Tell Stories” – King Hezekiah
We looked at the life of Hezekiah and the broken legacy left by his father, Ahaz. We were reminded that our scars, pain, and family history do not have to determine our future. God can redeem every story.
Night 2: “The Breaking is the Blessing”
Through the story of Jacob wrestling with God, we learned that sometimes God breaks our self-sufficiency so He can bless us with a new identity and a deeper dependence on Him.
Night 3: “When the Holy Spirit Comes” (Acts 1:1-8)
Using a pizza box illustration, we talked about how we are simply the delivery box. The box isn’t what changes people… it’s what’s inside. In the same way, we carry the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. He fills us, empowers us, and makes us His witnesses.
Night 4: “Will You Be There?”
We ended with the story of Ananias of Damascus being willing to show up for Paul the Apostle. One act of obedience changed the course of history. The question for all of us is simple: Will you be there when God calls?
One quote that captured this week perfectly came from St. Francis of Assisi:
“Preach the gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.”
I watched students worship with abandon, pray for one another, answer God’s call, and experience His presence in life-changing ways.
Youth camp isn’t just about four nights away from home. It’s about eternity being changed.
Thank you, Jesus, for every tear, every altar moment, every surrendered heart, and every “yes.”
The fire doesn’t end at camp. Now we take it home. ❤️🔥
