✝️ “We should glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.” — Galatians 6:14

This weekend, September 12–13, we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the beautiful reminder that the Cross—the instrument of Christ’s suffering—became the instrument of our salvation.

We invite you to make this celebration meaningful for your family by bringing a crucifix or wall cross from your home to Mass for a special blessing.

It’s a simple way to live out two of our parish anchors:

⚓ Faith & Fidelity — keeping Christ and His sacrifice at the center of our lives and allowing the Cross to remind us daily of the depth of His love.

⚓ Strong Families — bringing our faith beyond Sunday Mass and into our homes, where our children and families can see, experience, and grow in it together.

After your cross is blessed, take it home and place it somewhere your family will see it often as a visible reminder that Christ is at the center of our homes and our lives.

✝️ Bring your crucifix or wall cross to Mass this weekend and receive a special blessing!

🌎 FAITH ON THE GO 🙏

Even our pastor gets to take his faith on the go!

Father Rick was away this weekend enjoying a little time for rest, prayer, and renewal at Vision of Peace Hermitages in Pevely, Missouri.

And what better way to slow down and appreciate God’s creation than simply watching the river go by. 🌿💙

Sometimes living our faith means making space to be still and to step away from the busyness, quiet our hearts, and simply spend time with God.

Whether we’re at home, at our parish, or sitting beside the river, we are always called to love Jesus, serve Jesus, and share Jesus.

Prayer for Labor Day 🙏

Lord, on this Labor Day,
we celebrate the work we do,
and we thank You for the blessing of our jobs.
We ask for those seeking employment
that You guide them in their search for work.
We ask for guidance when we are confused.
We ask for patience when working through conflicts.
We ask for strength to complete each day.
We ask for rest when we are weary.
We ask that You be with those whose faces we might never see
but who work tirelessly each day for the good of us all. Amen.

🌱 FAITH GROWS HERE — even in our littlest disciples! 💚

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a beautiful opportunity for children ages 3 through second grade to hear and experience God’s Word in a way created just for them during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.

As we help plant those little seeds of faith, we pray they continue to grow into a lifelong love for Jesus. ✝️🌱

📌 Please note: There will be NO Children’s Liturgy on Labor Day weekend, Sunday, September 6.
