Yesterday in Kid’s church, we talked about how God gives us special daddies (or grandpas, uncles, and family helpers) to take care of us, read to us, and help us. We played with balloons and colored a special page for our dad’s for Father’s Day.

What a fantastic week we had!! Today was day 5 in Rainforest Falls and we found out that God is Forever! (Wow, God!) in Bible Adventures we were able to hear what heaven looks like from John’s vision from God. We learned about the streets made of gold, the trees, the river and the perfection. We also learned that God will wipe our tears away, and there will be no more death, pain, or sadness. In Sticky Scripture the elementary kids got to take home their very own book of Psalms, the one they had been looking up and reading psalms out of all week. In Games we had a water day and an all out water war! We sang, laughed and the preschoolers got to make lots of bubbles!
We had fun with everyone and we are happy to have hosted so many children this week! We invite you all to join us on Sundays at 8:45am, 11am or 12:30pm (Español). We have Kid’s church at the 11am service, nursery is also available.

God is Love is what we learned in Day 4 in Rainforest Falls VBS. The kids heard in Bible Adventures all about how Jesus died for us, died for OUR sins, and conquered death! All because God loves us! In Sticky Scripture, we looked up and read Psalm 136:1-“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” Tia our Bible Buddy challenged the kids to try doing some bottle flipping, the elementary kids were pretty good, but our preschoolers really put on quite a show! They don’t exactly have the hang of it, but I did witness one successful flip! At Canopy Closing, we talked more about Jesus dying for our sins, demonstrated how Jesus can wipe sour hearts clean and that God’s love remains with us forever. The kids were getting into the songs and showing of the motions, as were a few of our leaders!!
Tomorrow is our last day, we will be having water games at our elementary games rotation, so if any parents are seeing this be sure to send them in clothes that can get wet and that they bring a towel!

On day 3 in Rainforest falls, we discovered that God is our safe place! We helped David hide from King Saul’s army and we were there when David confronted King Saul. We made Flutterflies in Imagination Station, looked up and read Psalm 142:5. Wild Games was intense today with a crazy game of tag and Canopy Closing was Egg-citing!

We learned on Day 2 in Rainforest Falls VBS that God knows everything! We had such a great time today singing and going through all the stations. We heard about how David celebrated God knowing everything, looked up Psalm 139 in our book of Psalms, played fun games, ate yummy snacks, created really neat secret drawings and did some cool science! We also learned about God Sightings today and I will have to say my God Sighting is seeing all the happy, smiling kids learning and experiencing God’s love ❤️ We can’t wait for Day 3 tomorrow!!

Day 1 of Rainforest Falls VBS revealed to us that God is our creator. We explored the creation story in Bible Adventures, played thrilling games, learned to reference verses in Sticky Scripture, and at Imagination Station, we observed chlorophyll with a black light to witness God’s creation firsthand.

Cape Coral First Methodist VBS starts Monday and we find ourselves NEEDING a leader for Bible Adventures station! This leader helps bring the Bible to life for groups of elementary age kids through interactive and engaging experiences.
