The Christian faith is not about your ability to hold on to God.

When Jeremiah's life fell apart, he tried to walk away from his calling. He said, "I won't mention him (God) or speak any longer in his name."
But Jeremiah quickly found out that God is relentless. God’s Word became like a fire in his bones. Jeremiah realized that the Christian life is not about our pursuit of God; it is about His unstoppable pursuit of us.

Have you ever felt like your prayers are hitting the ceiling?

If I am honest, there are times when I can’t find the right words to say. And even worse than that silence is the fear that if I can’t find the “right” way to pray, God will not listen to me at all. We often act as if our connection to heaven depends on our own performance in prayer. But this Sunday we are going to look at a prayer that guarantees your connection to God.

In John 17, Jesus prays the longest recorded prayer in the New Testament. He tells the Father that the work of redemption is accomplished. The most incredible part of this chapter is that Jesus uses His perfect standing with the Father to pray specifically for you!

Join us tomorrow at 9:30 AM for Sunday school and 10:30 AM for worship. Come and discover the relief of knowing that when your own words fail, you have a Savior who has already finished the work and intercedes for you.
