We’re two weeks into a new sermon series on the church, and this past Sunday Pastor Stephen shared about Christ’s blueprint for the Church in teaching, baptizing, and making disciples.

What a fitting time to take a quick look back at the 17 baptisms we celebrated this summer. We had the joy of hearing the testimonies of God’s grace in the lives of our brothers and sisters as they publicly proclaimed their faith in Christ.

What a gift to celebrate together what God is doing in the lives of His people. Praise God for His goodness and grace!

We need one another!

Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo endeavor. We need the encouragement, wisdom, prayers, friendship, and even the gentle challenges that come from walking alongside other believers.

We grow as we worship together.
We grow as we open God’s Word together.
We grow as we pray for one another, serve one another, and remind one another of the goodness of Christ.

We were made to walk with one another as we follow Christ.

Gathered Worship Service is staying the same, but our Bible Fellowships are launching THIS Sunday!

In Bible Fellowships, we desire to be centered on Christ, shaped by His Word, and dependent upon His Spirit. We will gather together to:

• Teach and discuss God’s Word
• Pray
• Encourage one another in following Christ
• Participate together in the life and ministry of the church
• Learn to serve and participate in Christ’s mission together

Any guesses as to the shenanigans our student ministry was up to this past week?!

Our student ministry team is up for all the fun as they love students and loves Jesus!

Summit Youth Group meets weekly on Wednesdays, and we’d love for your students to come hang out with us as we strive to know the living God and live like He is real in everyday life! 🙏🏽

Middle School: 6:00-7:15
High School: 7:00-8:30

Tomorrow's the day! We're holding service at Duck Park for our annual baptism service. Same time-9:00 AM- just different place!

Then, at 5:00 PM, gather in the church backyard to continue our day of celebration and fellowship! Hot dog bar, bounce houses, and fun and games for all ages! Bring a dessert or side dish to share, and be sure to bring a lawn chair to both gatherings for extra seating.
