This past Sunday we celebrated our graduates! Not all were able to attend as some are already embarking on their next chapter!!

Sydney Kearby: moving on from 8th grade to Southeastern High School!

Ellie Foote: Graduated from Central High School. She will be attending the University of Missouri with a major in Health Sciences. She plans to go to a Physician’s Assistant program afterwards.

Morgan Mock: Graduated from Central High School. She will be attending Culver-Stockton College as a Speech and Theatre Education major.

Carlie Goehl: Graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville Summa Cum Laude. She has earned her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She is now attending East Tennessee State University where she will work on earning her doctorate degree in occupational therapy.

We wanted to shout out our Director of Religious Education, Laura Evans! Mrs Laura just completed her 10th year as a catechist for our parish and received a certificate from the Diocese!

Last night, our PSR year came to and end. We celebrated a great year with pizza and students presented their family Lenten projects. Each family picked a prayer and researched it and shared what they learned! We were missing a lot of families due to sickness and a band concert. Check out the prayer projects at the church hall next time you’re there!

Highlights from the year:
2 2nd graders made their first reconciliation-congrats Brylee and Chase!

2 3rd graders received their final sacraments of reconciliation-congrats Alivia and Newt!

1 student and perfect attendance-Congrats Makaylin!

0 PSR Classes were cancelled because of bad weather 👏

We had our last PSR family Mass today and what better way to finish up our year then with the crowning of Mother Mary!

We will celebrate our PSR year on Wednesday and then that’s it!!! Crazy!!!

Art will be judged by St. Thomas parishioners

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. At Rainforest Falls, kids will discover that even in a wild and ever-changing world, they are never alone. As they explore the wonders of the rainforest, they'll learn that God is always with them—steady, loving, and faithful through every step. In a world full of ups and downs, we'll help kids build a strong foundation rooted in God's love and truth. Together, we'll point them to a forever friend they can trust—no matter where life takes them.

Vacation Bible School at St. Thomas will be held the July 9-11. On July 9 and July 10, VBS will be from 5:30-7:30. We will serve the participants dinner at 5:30. On July 11, VBS will be from 9:00-4:00. Lunch and snacks will be provided. A Mass will follow at 4 PM and all are welcome. Dinner and entertainment by the VBS participants will be immediately after Mass in the hall.
