Our Lending Library Has a New Home!

Our lending library has been around for a while, but thanks to our Parish Education Committee, it now has a brand-new outdoor box!

A huge thank you to Jarrod Ripperda, who generously donated his time and labor to build it. We’re so thankful for the helping hands that made this project possible!

The box will be stained soon to add the finishing touch, but it’s already stocked and ready to enjoy!

Inside you’ll find books for all ages, along with a few small trinkets and surprises.

Stop by, find something you’d like, and enjoy our new-and-improved lending library!

We’re excited for another year of learning, growing, having fun, and sharing God’s love together at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church!

We’re also excited to kick off a Youth Group for 7th grade through seniors!

🎉 Youth Group Kick-Off — September 27
⏰ 4:30–6:00 PM

Come hang out for games, snacks, friends, and Bible study. It’ll be a fun, relaxed place for our older kids to connect, grow in faith, and spend time together.

🎉 One last VBS celebration this morning!

Our kiddos shared some of their VBS songs during worship, and we wrapped up the party with donuts and fellowship afterward. 🍩🎶

We also had a special Backpack Blessing as our kids get ready to head back to school! 🎒 Each kiddo received a fish-shaped Jesus keychain along with a card sharing the meaning and history behind the Christian fish symbol. 🐟✝️

Missed out or would like a fish keychain? We’ll have more available at church next Sunday!

What a fun way to finish up VBS and send our kiddos into a new school year surrounded by prayer and God’s love! ❤️

VBS Offering Update 🎉

Thanks to the generosity of our VBS families and friends, we collected $214 through our nightly offerings and Venmo donations!

All of the money collected will go to support the Camp Point Kiddie Bazaar. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who gave and helped our VBS kids learn that giving is another way we can share God’s love with others!
