🧱 Sunday in kids church we continued our Brick Blast series for these BEAUTIFUL summer months!
📖 We studied the story of Peter thrown into prison, found in Acts 12:1-16.
🙏 The church, Peter’s friends, came together and prayed that the Lord would show up and boy did He!
💥 Peter was freed from prison because the Lord heard the people’s prayers!
💜 The same God that showed up in Peter’s circumstances is the God we serve today. He hears our prayers and He works miracles. Where do you need the Lord to show up in your circumstances today?
🫧 Memory Verse
“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.” Matthew 7:24

This week at Camp Point Assembly, we had the privilege of hosting one of the missionary families that we support serving in a closed country. Because of the sensitive nature of their ministry and the area they serve, we are unable to publicly share this week’s message.

Instead, we’re sharing a powerful sermon from March 5, 2023: “A God-Centered Faith Survives the Storm.”

Through the incredible true story behind the hymn “It Is Well With My Soul,” this message reminds us that even in seasons of loss, uncertainty, and trials, our faith can endure when it is centered on Jesus Christ.

Storms will come. Trials will happen. But God is still faithful through it all.

We pray this message encourages you this week.

When was the last time you truly got away with God?

Not multitasking.
Not listening to a podcast.
Not scrolling.
Not running through a prayer checklist.

Just sitting in His presence.

This Sunday at Camp Point Assembly, Pastor Dan started our “Powered” series with a message called “Be Still.”

In a world full of noise, distractions, busyness, and exhaustion, God still invites us to find peace and rest in Him.

“If you never recharge in peace, you will collapse in the storms.”

Have you rested with God yet this week?
There’s still time.

💜 Sunday our children began their summer series, Brick Blast!
🧱 We learned about the walls around Jerusalem having been destroyed and Nehemiah being propelled to lead the charge for the rebuild!
♥️ Nehemiah needed the favor and hand of the Lord on his life and leadership to accomplish this tall task!
👣What else did Nehiamiah need? People! Nehemiah had many hands to help rebuild!
💛 Facts we learned about the wall:
- Over 2 miles long
- 39 feet high
- 6-8 feet wide
- AND was rebuilt in 52 days! Wow!! If that isn’t the Lord!?
✝️ When the Lord leads us to it, He will also lead us through it!

🌿 EVEN IN THE VALLEYS, KEEP GOING 🌿

This Mother’s Day at Camp Point Assembly, we’re talking about the hard seasons of life—the valleys, the heartbreaks, the moments where obedience to God feels costly.

What do you do when you trust God… and life still hurts?

Through a deeply personal story of fostering, heartbreak, faith, and healing, this message reminds us that:
🌱 Roots grow in drought.
🌱 Faith grows in valleys.
🌱 God is still working even when we cannot see the outcome.

This message is especially for:
• weary moms
• grieving moms
• foster & adoptive families
• parents carrying heavy burdens
• anyone walking through a difficult season

📖 Jeremiah 17:5–8

Join us as we learn how God grows deep roots in difficult places.

🔥 FAILURE ISN’T FINAL 🔥

Have you ever felt like you messed up too badly?

Like your mistakes, failures, or past decisions disqualified you from what God had for your life?

This Sunday, we’re looking at one of the greatest comeback stories in Scripture—the restoration of Peter in John 21.

Peter denied Jesus publicly… yet Jesus pursued him, restored him, and still used him powerfully.

Because failure may be part of your story… but it does NOT have to be the end of your story.
