The Camden community came together to celebrate the dedication of the newly named Mayor Francisco “Frank” Moran Sports Complex at Von Nieda Park.

We were honored to be part of this special occasion recognizing Frank Moran’s lasting impact on Camden and his commitment to creating opportunities for future generations. Community spaces like this help shape memories and bring neighbors together through mind, body, and spirit.

Congratulations to Frank Moran and everyone whose partnership and vision made this dedication possible. Here's to the young athletes, families, and community members who will create opportunities for years to come. 💙

Thank you to our friend Cait (representing New Jersey Swim Safety Alliance , The ZAC Foundation , New Jersey Recreation and Park Association , and Dolfin Swimwear) who dropped off wonderful bathing suits, lifejackets, and goggles for local families in our Summer programming! They are part of a statewide group currently working toward a Drowning Prevention in the state of New Jersey. The goal: to make a big difference and reduce drownings throughout New Jersey. We applaud their important work and partnership with us in Camden!

We had a wonderful time this weekend at the 4th Annual It Takes A Village Housing Spring Fling!

From showcasing our exciting Group Fitness classes to meeting so many neighbors and community members, it was a great day of connection, wellness, and fun. We loved sharing how the Camden Kroc Center helps individuals and families stay active, healthy, and engaged all year long.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, and learned more about all that the Kroc Center has to offer. We can't wait to see you! 💙

From its inception, The Salvation Army has relied heavily on volunteers who support its mission and programs. Often referred to as the “army behind The Army”, volunteers play a crucial role in The Salvation Army’s ability to provide quality services for the entire community.

Volunteers serve in many ways, such as assisting in the food pantry, community outreach, health & wellness classes, special events, red kettle bell ringers, admin tasks, and more. If you have a special skill or profession, we would like to hear from you. Opportunities vary with age, skill and commitment.

We are blessed to have volunteers who in Camden every day!

For Eulany, her art sessions at Camp Tecumseh were a reminder that creativity lives in everyone and sometimes you just have to open your mind and let it shine. Beyond the activities, moments in Church encouraged deeper reflection, challenging her to think about what it means to be “asleep spiritually” and how faith can grow stronger when we stop living lukewarm. Camp is a place for growth, discovery, and life-changing conversations!

Join us for our next Pop-Up Food Pantry Friday, June 5, from 11am-2pm in partnership with our friends at the Food Bank of South Jersey, United States Cold Storage, Inc., and UnitedHealthcare! 

We will also have a special visit from Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center providing pet food and supplies while supplies last.

Please bring your ID and bags to receive free groceries including produce, dairy, meat and more! no appointments necessary. Enter through Entrance A by our solar panel parking lot for this FREE event for everyone.

Yesterday we hosted our dear friends William and Ronja Butler. As artist to the iconic “Oneness” painting that hangs in our town plaza and served as blueprint for the stained glass in our Chapel, the Butlers spent almost 15 years in Camden creating beautiful works of art across the tri-state area sharing God's stories. For the past 3 years, the couple has found their next calling in Los Angeles and are mobile for the Lord living/working/ministering out of a 19’ sprinter van
