Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, the day that marks June 19, 1865, when news of freedom finally reached enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation had been signed. This historic day stands as a symbol of freedom, hope, perseverance, and the enduring strength of a people who never stopped believing in God's promises.

📖 "For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters." — Galatians 5:13

As we honor the sacrifices, struggles, and triumphs of those who came before us, let us also celebrate the progress that has been made and continue working together in faith, love, and unity.
