VIRTUS TRAINING - Aug 12 - St. Francis Xavier

If you or someone you know would like to volunteer for any of our parish programs (CCD, Catholic Charities, Youth Ministry / Chaperone, Totus Tuus, VBS, Eucharist or Home-bound Visits, etc.) in the parishes and have not been Virtus trained, the next training for our 4 parishes will take place:

Aug 12 at St. Francis Xavier from 6pm - 9pm

This free training is a program for child / individual protection awareness and is a requirement for all Archdiocesan volunteers.

Virtus training is open to everyone = parents, grandparents, Catholic school teachers, Legion of Mary, Altar Society and Knights of Columbus members as well as youth volunteers (16-17 years) with parental approval.

If you plan to attend this free training, please login to the Virtus website at: https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/
and proceed as a first time registrant with the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS. You will need to complete a background check as well as all the necessary online documents prior to attending the training.

On the evening of training:

* Arrive at least 10min early to register at the St. Francis Xavier Parish Center / Hall. Due to Archdiocesan guidelines, if you arrive after the training has begun you will not be admitted to the class.

* Light refreshments will be served.

* Please plan for child care as none will be provided.

* Youth 16 - 17 must attend with a parent or guardian or bring the premission slip (obtained from the office) signed by their parent or guardian.
