The vision of Ezekiel shows a valley of dry bones, representing a people with dead faith and no hope. Yet, the Spirit of God breathes life into them. This passage reminds us that our God breathes life and resurrection, even when all seems lost. Even after Pentecost, we are reminded that there is always hope.

God asks Ezekiel, 'Can these bones live?' Ezekiel wisely replies, 'Lord, only you know.' God then commands Ezekiel to prophesy life into them, and they become a vast army. This powerful imagery echoes the Genesis creation, where God breathed life into humankind.
