ASP Day 3 – Pink Day!

Our ASP team enjoyed a beautiful day in Nicholas County, West Virginia, as they continued serving families and communities through their work projects.

With the sun shining and everyone dressed in pink for the day, the team spent another day putting faith into action—working hard, building relationships, and sharing Christ’s love in tangible ways.

Thank you for your prayers and support as our youth and adult leaders continue this meaningful week of service. We are grateful for the impact they are making and the ways God is at work through them!

Adventure Awaits—And We Need Mountain Guides! 🏔️

Vacation Bible School is coming August 3–7, and we're looking for caring volunteers to serve as Mountain Guides!

Mountain Guides lead small groups of Challengers (kids) from station to station, encourage participation, build relationships, and help make VBS a fun and meaningful experience for everyone.

You don't need to be a teacher or Bible expert—just someone who enjoys spending time with children and sharing God's love.

We're invited to engage scripture not by taking it literally, but by taking it seriously. This series reminds us how we, as United Methodists, approach the text, even when we don't fully understand Jesus' actions or words.

We often lose sight of the importance of self-love, neglecting to nurture our mental health and wellness. It's easy to see self-love as selfish or prideful, but it's actually the starting point. When we receive and embrace the love God has for us, we can then selflessly extend that love to others.

ASP Day 2 – Nicholas County, WV

It was Tie-Dye Tuesday for our ASP team, and their colorful shirts brought a little extra sunshine to a rainy West Virginia morning!

Thankfully, yesterday's work projects were indoors, allowing the team to stay busy despite the weather. They spent the day serving, learning new skills, and making a difference for the families they are assisting in Nicholas County.

After a hard day's work, the group enjoyed some well-deserved fun and fellowship at Picnic Night at Summersville Lake, taking in the beautiful scenery and spending time together.

Thank you for your continued prayers for our team as they serve, grow, and share Christ's love through their work this week. 💙🔨🏠
