We are a growing community of faith rooted in the knowledge of God's grace and committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ, the worldwide priority of The United Methodist Church. Living from a posture of generosity and serving others in the name of Jesus Christ draws upon the gifts and energies of hundreds of disciples that make up our church community. Children, youth, and all ages of adults share in the mission of Jesus Christ by joining God out in the community and in the world, weaving together stories, worship, service, and the fullness of life in the unity of the Holy Spirit.

Don't forget that it's Cereal Sunday this weekend at Front Street UMC! Help stock The Salvation Army's food pantry by bringing a box of cereal or other canned/dry goods. Simply drop off your donations on the top shelf of our Donation Center. Thanks for your support of those in need in our community!

What does a generous life look like? Luke 6 connects giving freely with the simple call to treat others as we’d want to be treated. When someone needs support, we can show up with an open heart—expecting nothing in return.

A gift can come with a plan—but trust can make room for something better. When a church community gives with generosity and lets go of control, it can serve the needs in front of it.

Stories help us notice generosity in our own lives. One act of kindness can spark another—and sharing those moments reminds us how goodness moves through our communities.

What began as a confession became something neither of them expected. Letting go of control felt frightening, especially without wanting to manipulate anyone—but the heartfelt response revealed a story still unfolding.
