5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

FREEING FRIDAY
A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Goodness and Mercy [MBFF]
Blessings to You!!
"MBFF" were the letters on the Word Wall of one of our students yesterday. They were suppose to be making words out of letters, with a big smile on her face, she proudly motioned for me to come to her table to show me the word she made. "Look at my word Mrs. Parker" MBFF- my best friend forever"!!

My response was a thumb up and a smile. I didn't give it anymore thought until this morning!! Holy Spirit is using her letters to minister to us this morning on the subject of Jesus being our Best Friend Forever!! Make it personal and call Him [MBFF]!!

Relationship will come and go, friends may disappoint us, betray us, abandon us, mistreat us, fail us, die on us, life will give us blows that may seem hard to recover from, but there is a friend who will stick closer than a brother. His name is Jesus!!

The intention of today's Fresh Manna is to free us from the heartache associated with relationships. His advice is always keep our trust and confidence in the LORD first!! (see Psalms 118:8). He is that kind of friend that knows our flaws but over looks them, the One who sees our sins but covers them and forgives us, the One who loves us unconditionally, mistakes and all!! He proves this by giving us additional friends- Goodness and Mercy that follows us all the days of our lives!!

What do you think about that? Goodness and Mercy following us, never leaving, never lagging behind, but with us as reminders of us not ever being alone!! Today, smile and take comfort of having a BFF who will never leave your side!!

Today's Confession: Goodness and Mercy- Faithful Friends Forever!!

Father thank You for always being with me!! Thank You for never leaving or abandoning me!! Thank You for Jesus and the added bonus of Your Goodness and Mercy following me all the days of my life!!

SURRENDERING SUNDAY
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your steadfast love; according to Your abundant mercy blot out my transgression.
Psalms 51:1 ESV

He is the Father of Mercy!!!
Blessings to You!!
"Have mercy on me" was David's plea to the Father. He knew of the Father's steadfast love and mercy!! He knew his transgression[sin against the Father] needed to be removed, so he relied on the Mercy of God to cleanse him(see verse 10-11)!

Today Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves, if there is any transgression against the Father, follow David's example and call on the God of Mercy. Ask Him to create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within. He is a Father who is quick to forgive, full of Mercy and Grace and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness (see 1 John 1:9).

Key to this is confession!! He sees our acts against Him, knows our thoughts and the deceitfulness of the heart (see Jeremiah 17:9), our response is a cry of mercy to the One who is full of Mercy and Grace!! Hallelujah!!

Today's Confession: Our God of Mercy hears us when we call to Him!!!

Surrendering Sunday Prayer:
Father in the Name of Jesus, I call upon You for Mercy and Grace!! Thank You for Your steadfast love for me, that never ends!! Today and every day I will look to You for renewed mercy and compassion!!!
In Jesus Name Amen!!!
