If you’re going to Station 330 to support the Center For ASD today, be aware of an accident involving a train and 18 wheeler at the corner of Renfro and Commerce. 

TRAFFIC ALERT | RENFRO & COMMERCE

A train has struck a tractor-trailer near Renfro Street and Commerce Street, completely blocking the intersection.

All railroad crossings in Old Town are currently CLOSED. Traffic is being diverted to the railroad crossings at Hidden Creek Parkway.

There are no fatalities reported, but this will be an extensive cleanup and the area is expected to remain impacted for some time.

Please avoid Old Town and expect significant traffic delays. Use an alternate route and give emergency crews plenty of room to work.

We will provide an update as soon as the crossings and roadway reopen.

AVOID THE AREA. EXPECT LONG DELAYS.

🍎 🍏 Back to School Potluck 🎒🍎

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Burleson, Texas, enjoyed a wonderful Back to School Potluck today, August 16, 2026, following worship!

Tables were filled with yummy sandwich fixings, fresh fruit, chips, deviled eggs, delicious desserts, and so much more. Everyone’s plates were full.

After some fierce bidding, Angela’s Dubai Chocolate-Pistachio Torte went home with the lucky winner, Lolly! 🎉🍫💚

A big thank-you to everyone who stayed, brought food to share, helped set up, and pitched in with the cleanup. Your help and fellowship made the afternoon extra special.

It was a wonderful time of food, laughter, fellowship, and joy as we enjoyed being together as a church family. What a great way to kick off the new school year! 📚✏️
