Heights Kids Burleson At the Heights Church we believe that God moves in all ages and Heights Kids is dedicated to guiding children to God. Heights Kids is for 1st-5th grade.

Saturday service is a family service! This means there are no kids classes for ages 5 and up. All children are able to join parents in service during our Saturday services and there will be kids’ activity packets for any children who want one.

A family service is a great opportunity for you and your family. You might wonder, “How will they understand the sermon”, “Will it be too boring for them”. Having children joining you in service is a great opportunity for your child. Your child gets to experience and watch you sing, lift your hands, dance, and pray. Children learn from your and the congregation’s example.

It is understandable that your child will not completely understand the message that they hear, and this is a good thing! It is your opportunity now as a parent to further fellowship and minister to your child.

Saturday services are for all ages, and this is a benefit to your family. Your children get the chance to see and understand how to worship and the purpose of it. They get to ask you questions. They aren’t going to understand everything in an adult service, but they have an opportunity to learn new things and ask you questions which adds to your family’s relationship with God. Jesus has always had a heart for children and constantly put emphasis on a child’s role in the kingdom of God. We are excited for this opportunity to grow as a church family!
