International Restoration Commission Ministries, IRC Ministries, is the mission organization and ministry of Rodney and Trina Kirkpatrick. Rodney and Trina were trained and ordained through Foundation Ministries, the ministry of Robert Terrell and John Moreland. Having served the Lord in pastoral ministry and short term missions since 1996, they formed IRC in 2005 to better support other churches,

ministries and organizations on a full time basis. Worth, TX area in the USA to Durban, South Africa where they are presently based. Through the diversity of their ministry experience, the Lord has given Rodney and Trina a ministry of counsel to other leaders in the Body of Christ. They assist leaders in three key areas:
Counsel and Restoration for marital difficulties in a leader’s personal life. Strategic planning for the direction of churches, ministries or organizations
Conflict resolution among leaders within a particular church, ministry or organization & between leaders of different churches, ministries or organizations. Rodney and Trina are also committed to a ministry of training both leadership and the Body of Christ as a whole. Through the gifts of personal prophecy, teaching and healing they preach and conduct seminars on a variety of subjects. Two primary areas of their training are:
Christians hearing God’s voice today
Christians should Walk in Divine Healing

This morning I was thinking about friends that have left us way too soon.
I was looking through the books on the bookshelf and ran across this one.
The first page is the note pictured. The second page says this...

" Friendship is a walk on the beach, a pot of tea shared, a task completed together, and so much more!
It is a living thing-ever growing and changing. It manifests itself in its own way at different times and places. At times it flowers and at times it rests. At times it takes and at times it gives. And like all living things, it needs to be nurtured and yet it gives nurture too.

Friendship is also like an exquisite jewel, forged and clarified by the fires of life. If we observe it carefully, we see a myriad of facets in its ever-changing face; the world reflected in it, ourselves reflected in it. What a precious thing! May we cherish it always.....
(If instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give.)

George MacDonald

May we try to cherish every moment with those we love as though it was our last.

Psalm 145:10-14 NASB95
All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You. [11] They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; [12] To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom. [13] Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. [14] The LORD sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.

I was reading through my journal yesterday and felt the Lord say to post this.
This is just my freebase thoughts in the middle of the hardest thing Rod and I have experienced.

In a world where sudden change and calamity have become the norm, we need to guard our time with the Lord even when we see nothing on the horizon.

While sleeping in the recliner beside Rod's hospital bed the Lord woke me up and said, " Seek me while I can be found".

People always say we only cry out to the Lord when we are in trouble. In those times we are often just begging Him to save us from a situation but not really seeking Him.
In times of extreme hardship like pain, sleeplessness or hardship it is very hard to seek Him.
One of the things the Lord showed me about seeking Him while He may be found is just that. When I am in a place of rest I need to seek Him and know Him so that when I am in a desperate situation I will know Him in every way. I will know His presence,His wisdom,His heart for me. I will be able to turn to Him in great fullness because I have been seeking Him when I could find Him.
I Kings 19
At the end of a victory sometimes comes a battle. When the onslaught of the enemy is strong sometimes it feels almost impossible to find the Lord. Not impossible to pray, read my Bible or even sing praise but just to simply find Him.

This is where I have found myself a few times over the last few weeks. Me laying under that tree desperately wanting just to sleep.

In these times the people God has put in our lives have been the ones to find the Lord for us. They have lifted up prayers on our behalf
They have called and sent encouraging words and scriptures.

When in our desperation we did not have the strength to find His rest others lifted us up to Him.

Seek the Lord when you can easily find Him so that when you fall on the floor in a heap of despair He will rise up in you and carry you through. He will make you stronger.

Isaiah 55:6 NASB95
Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.

One of the most important things for a healthy church is to RECEIVE those that The Lord sends to be a strength and encouragement. Matthew 10:40-41 NASB:

"He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. [41] He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

We do this by allowing what God says through them to change the course of our lives.
