Cleaning the church may look like a simple task, but when it is done with a sincere heart, it becomes an act of worship. 🙏❤️

Not every ministry happens behind a pulpit. Not every servant of God holds a microphone. Sometimes, serving God means picking up a broom, wiping the pews, mopping the floor, arranging chairs, cleaning the windows, or preparing a place where others can worship comfortably.

God sees the hands that serve even when nobody applauds. He sees the person who comes early to clean, the one who stays late to help, and the one who quietly does what needs to be done without seeking recognition.

Never think that a small task is insignificant in the Kingdom of God. A humble servant who cleans with love may be doing something just as meaningful as the person standing in front of the congregation.

The church is not merely a building, but the place where people gather to worship, pray, hear God's Word, fellowship, and draw closer to Him. Therefore, taking care of it should never be considered beneath us.

Let us stop asking, “What position do I have?” and start asking, “How can I serve?”

Because true service is not about being seen—it is about being faithful.

Whether you are preaching, singing, teaching children, cleaning the church, arranging chairs, helping the elderly, or simply doing something nobody notices, do it wholeheartedly for the Lord.

You may not receive applause from people, but your service is seen by God.
And when we serve Him with humility, love, and faithfulness, even the smallest act can bring glory to His name. 🙏✨

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

It’s easy to love the Jesus who is gentle, compassionate, and comforting.

But Jesus also confronted hypocrisy.
He rebuked sin.
He challenged the comfortable.
He called people to repentance.
And yes, He overturned tables.

We cannot follow Jesus only when His words comfort us. We must follow Him when His truth convicts us, corrects us, and calls us to change.

Jesus is not meant to fit into our preferences. We are called to be transformed into His likeness. 🤍🙏🏻

When others fail, we are quick to demand a penalty or at least an extended timeout,
yet when it’s our own failure we want to be restored quickly and put back in the game. The truth is, most of us would have benched Peter after his epic failure of lying and denying, however, Jesus saw fit to make him the spokesperson for the salvation message on the Day of Pentecost.

The message of Pentecost is not only one of salvation, but also restoration. The fact that Peter preached it also shows us that failure isn't final and your moments of shame don't have to take you out of the game.

Listen to the voice. Powerful.

This memory from 2019 - still relevant today!

There is a popular Charismatic speaker who visits our area regularly. I watched part of a video where she was telling a group of women that she ‘used to dress soberly and modestly like she thought women in the church were supposed to’ but she ‘wasn’t happy’ and one day, she says, God told her, ‘You don’t have to dress like that’ and now she dresses the way she wants, and preaches that God is perfectly ok with it. As I watched her in her tight pink pants (that almost looked like she wasn’t wearing any), her little cleavage-baring top and chunky, bright jewelry, I thought, it wasn’t the voice of my holy Jesus she heard. And now she’s leading other women astray with false doctrines.
At the risk of being accused of hating and shaming, I say her stance shows that she has pushed Jesus off the throne of her life and set herself on it. Because Jesus is never going to tell you it’s okay to do something that is contrary to His Word! The Bible does say that women in the church should dress with ‘modesty and sobriety’, and there are many good reasons for that. The Bible says that we should prevent our bodies as a ‘living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service.’ It’s a sacrifice to not dress to please our flesh or follow the fashion trends, but the Word says it’s reasonable for God to ask us to do it, and it pleases Him when we obey. Modest clothing does so much more than protect us from the elements - it helps us protect our Christian brothers from sin. Because tight, provocative garments entice them to lust, which leads to sin, which leads to spiritual death - that’s Bible! God’s idea of covering - study it out - is being loosely covered in a garment that completely covers from the neck to below the knees. And His Word speaks against appropriating clothing that is associated with the opposite gender.
The word says we are to be a separated people - we should grow in holiness, not in worldliness. Be careful whom you follow. It is notable that this speaker is heavily supported by a backslidden Apostolic who has rebelled against the precepts they once believed in. Just like satan when he rebelled and took 1/3 of the angels with him, rebellion wants company. A popular speaker who uses a lot of scripture, but whose lifestyle and appearance do not conform to God’s precepts, is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. If they’ll completely ignore or misinterpret one part of Scripture, can you trust what they preach? Remember Galatians 1 - those who preach another Gospel are accursed. Test the spirits! Compare with the Word and don’t be deceived!
