What is refuge?

Hear from Savanah R., one of our AYO missionaries in Bryan, TX, about her recent journey with a student.

It’s not just a space we create.
It’s an experience we offer.
It’s the moment fear loosens its grip.
The moment someone feels seen.
The moment curiosity turns into confidence.

For one middle school girl, refuge looked like picking up a guitar she was once too afraid to play.

For us at Ablaze Youth Outreach, it looks like walking with young people, right where they are, until they begin to believe they’re capable of more. Join us in continuing to create spaces where young people can step into who they’re becoming.

What is refuge?

Hear from our Missionary Team Lead in Waco, , and his journey with a student in Waco, TX.

It’s not a building.
It’s not a program.

It’s a relationship.

It’s a missionary showing up when a teen is struggling.
It’s a father being met with compassion, not judgment.
It’s a young man discovering he is more than his failures.

Because of your support, this student now has someone who meets him weekly; not just to help with homework, but to remind him he is loved.

We’re incredibly excited to announce our keynote Speaker for our upcoming Refuge Benefit Dinner in Bryan, TX, Andy Lesnefsky. For more than two decades, Andy has led faith-based initiatives that refuse to shrink back.
His message will challenge us, ground us, and invite us into something far bigger than a dinner… into a movement already taking shape in our city.
