Message for June 7, 2026
Title: Search Me, O Lord
Time: 11:00am
Scripture: Psalms 139:23-24

This Sunday I want to focus on a beautiful passage from the Old Testament. The verse is from Psalms 139 verses 23-24 that says,

“Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.”
The author here is David, and these two verses is a plea for self-reflection and surrender to God, asking Him to search his heart, thoughts, and anxieties, leading to a deeper connection with Him and a path of everlasting righteousness.

When you study this verse David is acknowledging the depth of God’s knowledge and intimacy. He's inviting God to search and know his heart, examining every corner of his being to understand his thoughts, feelings, fears, and desires completely.

This act of surrendering oneself to God’s scrutiny is a powerful declaration of faith and trust in His wisdom and love. It also signifies a willingness to be transparent and vulnerable before God, knowing that He sees and understands everything about us.

So, we hope to see you this week as God reveals His Word to us.

Title: Blessed are They Who Hunger and Thirst
Time: 11:00am
Scripture: Matthew 5:6

This Sunday I'll be focusing on Matthew 5:6 that says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.”

This verse is part of the Beatitudes in Jesus Sermon on the Mount, emphasizing the inner condition of the heart and the pursuit of God’s will.

To hunger and thirst for righteousness signifies a deep, earnest desire for justice, moral integrity, and alignment with God’s standards, not merely following rules but activity seeking a life in accordance with His will.

The verse uses the metaphor of hunger and thirst to convey this intense, urgent longing for righteousness, similar to the physical need for food and water.

This imagery emphasizes that the pursuit of righteousness is not casual but a deep, continual desire that should drive a believer’s life.

It’s this deep active longing of hunger and thirst, it cultivates a desire for us to stand right with God, living a holy, just life, with the promise of God’s blessing to those who earnestly seek it.

So, we hope you can join us this week as we discover God's Word together.

Title: Remember the Sacrifice
Time: 11:00am

This weekend we are celebrating Memorial Day. This is a time of remembrance and gratitude. It’s a time when we look to the sacrifice of the brave men and women who have died in service to our country.

This is personal to me as someone who served in Fire & Rescue as a Firefighter/EMT for 23 years.

So I ask that as you enjoy time with your family and friends you take a moment, step away from the grill, the cookouts, and the gatherings and remember brave men and women who have fallen in war, as well as those in protective services—firefighters, EMS personnel, and police officers—who have made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our safety and freedom. Their courage and selflessness remind us of the profound cost of the liberties we enjoy and the peace we cherish.
As followers of Jesus, Memorial Day invites us to reflect not only on sacrifices that people have made but also on the divine example of love that undergirds it.

So we want to invite you to help us celebrate as we remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom and to those who protect us.

In this new seven-week series of “The Awe of God we’ll explore how a healthy, holy fear of God transforms one’s life, deeping intimacy with Him and guiding believers to finish well.

We’ll emphasize the importance of holy fear, a reverent awe of God that is distinct from being scared of Him as the foundation for a fulfilling and fruitful spiritual life. This virtue is largely overlooked today, but essential for steadfast faith, wisdom, and a lasting legacy.

This series will encourage you to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, showing how this mindset fosters intimacy with God, protects from spiritual pitfalls, and empowering believers to finish well.

In this study we will look at several things that will help you develop a more intimate walk with God. Things like:

• Holy Fear vs. Fear of Man: We’ll distinguish between destructive fear and the constructive fear of God.
• Intimacy with God: By embracing holy fear you can unlocks a deeper relationship with God, aligning one’s life with His will.
• Spiritual Rewards: Scripture promises blessing such as holiness, wisdom, confidence, happiness, and security to those who cultivate reverent fear.
• Practical Application: Throughout this series we hope to offer you actionable guidance for living a life marked by reverence, hating sin, and walking in humility.

So, we hope you can join us for this exciting study of God’s Word. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.

Title: Rattled: Experiencing God in the Valley
Time: 11:00am

In this vision, the prophet Ezekiel is brought by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with dry bones. God asks him if the bones can live, and Ezekiel responds that only God knows. God commands Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones, promising to restore them with tendons, flesh, skin, and breath, so they will live again.

As Ezekiel obeys, the bones reassemble, are covered with flesh, and receive breath, forming a vast living army.

God explains that the bones represent the people of Israel, who felt hopeless and cut off. He promises to restore them, to bring them back to their land, and put His Spirit within them, so they will live and recognize His sovereignty.

Ezekiel 37:1-14 remains a powerful message of hope, renewal, and divine intervention, illustrating that God can restore life to what appears completely dead, both spiritually and nationally.

This is a powerful message that could change your life. So, I'm sending you this invitation, hoping we'll see you this Sunday.

Title: Don't Give Up
Time: 11:00am

It has been said that at one point in our lives we felt like quitting, because the truth is quitting feels easier than continuing.

The Apostle Paul knew that feeling. His ministry wasn’t a straight path of success. It was full of setbacks, rejections, oppositions, exhaustions, and uncertainty. And yet he kept going. Not because it was easy, but because it mattered.

Like Paul I to have experienced seasons where I felt that same tension. You’re doing the right things, showing up, trying to stay faithful, but the results aren’t obvious. Progress feels slow. And a quiet question starts to creep in. Is it worth it?

If we’re honest, you to have experienced moments when you’ve been tempted to give up too. When doing good feels like an uphill battle. But God calls us to endure, and He promises that our perseverance will be rewarded.

So, if you find yourself feeling this way to, then this message is for you. This will be a word of encouragement to help you not to give up, but to encourage you to keep going, because in the end it will be worth it! I hope to see you this Sunday!

Sermon for April 19,2026
Message Title: Availability
Time: 11:00am

This week we are introduce to a man by the name of Isaiah. When Isaiah encountered the presence of God, his first response was not to ask for details, guarantees, or benefits. Instead, he simply said, “Here I am; send me.” True availability to God begins with a surrendered heart, not with knowing the plan. In a world where we crave control, God calls us to trust Him enough to make ourselves available for His purposes.

So, we hope you can come this week an hear his amazing story and learn how we can apply this message to our lives.

Title: Would You Know Him?
Time: 11:00am

On resurrection Sunday Jesus appears to two disciples who were not part of the twelve. Jesus makes average, everyday believers a priority because resurrection life is for everyone.

Jesus explains why he had to suffer and opens their hearts and minds to the scriptures about himself, leaving them with their hearts burning.

So, we hope to see you this Sunday as God reveals His Words to us.
