Decorate the Church for Christmas! 🎄
Saturday, December 14 at 12pm

Volunteers are needed to help decorate the church for Christmas this Saturday, starting at noon. We'll set out wreaths and other greens, and decorate our gorgeous tree. This is a fun act of service for families to do after the pageant rehearsal, and for all to join in a community Advent spirit of preparing for Christmas. Please join us!

Saturday, December 7 from 9am-4pm

Trees are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Trees may be pre-ordered by submitting the completed form and payment. Forms may be emailed to the church office.

Payment will be accepted via cash, Zelle, or Faithstreet (www.faithstreet.com/church/st-john-st-matthew-emmanuel-lutheran/giving). All proceeds from our sale will benefit Gowanus Mutual Aid and Global Refuge.

New Orleans Day 2! We are resting after a long day of excitement. We began our day with an alligator swamp tour along with other groups from the Metro NY synod. After an eventful lunch, we headed to the convention center to check in and then walked over to Smoothie King stadium for our first Mass Gathering filled with music and worship.

New Orleans Day 1 was a success! We are grateful for all the well wishes and blessings as we begin our trip. The group spent the day at the National WWII Museum, taking in history through an interactive experience. We enjoyed wonderful phone free meals together, from traditional Louisiana cuisine to Mediterranean. We’re excited for the youth gathering to officially begin tomorrow!
