Saint Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Brookings South Dakota Our parish was founded in 1904 to serve Catholics in the Brookings area.

The gym is now open to drop off donations for our annual parish rummage sale! Please bring donations in through the gym doors on the east side of the building near the flagpole. We do not accept clothing, costumes, shoes, or broken items. If you need help hauling furniture or large items, please call the parish office. The rummage sale will be open for shopping Friday, June 12 - Sunday, June 14.

What to know more about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd? This weekend, a sample atrium has been set up in the gathering space for parents and children to explore, and CGS catechists will be available after each mass to answer questions about the program. Next fall, CGS classes will be available in our pastorate for children ages 3-7! Parents can use the link here to pre-register and be updated when fall class times are set.

Dear Lord,
Pour your goodness and grace upon the women of our community today in a special way.
For mothers: fill them with joy and blessing.
For those who have lost children: hold them in their sorrow.
For those who have hoped for children: surround them with Your love.
For those who have lost a mother: may they know Your comfort.
For those carrying difficulty on this day: bring them consolation.
Bless all women this day. Thank you for the love they bring to this world, no matter their circumstances or story. Amen.

Congratulations to our First Communicants who were welcomed to the Lord's Table for the first time last weekend! May the gift of the Lord's Body and Blood help them to grow closer to God each day of their lives.

The Paul Moriarty Memorial Bed Build was held last Saturday, May 2nd at the Brookings Sleep in Heavenly Peace location. We are so grateful and humbled by the support from so many from the Moriarty family, the All Saints Pastorate and the SF Diocese. “Many hands make light work,” and our crews were able to finish early on Saturday! We achieved our goal of 97 beds built, which is the age Paul Moriarty would have been on April 30, 2026. Next year we will try for 98! A huge "Thank You" to all who donated, volunteered, and helped in other ways to make the Bed Build such a success! Please contact Deacon Phil Carlson if you would like to be part of the pilgrimage and bed deliveries to Pine Ridge June 24-27.

The All-Saints Pastorate welcomes our new priest, Fr. Ernest Abugri!! Fr Ernest is beginning his second year in the Diocese with us and is currently serving as a parochial vicar in the Queen of Peace Pastorate just south of Brookings. He will be joining us as a parochial vicar in the All Saints Pastorate at the beginning of July. Welcome Fr Ernest!

The Paul Moriarty Memorial Bed Build is just one week away!
Want to help? There are many ways you can contribute to making this year's Bed Build a success!

- Attend the Burgers & Brats Fundraiser after 10:30am Mass tomorrow - Sunday, April 26 - in the Social Hall at STM. Enjoy a delicious lunch with all proceeds going to support the Bed Build.

- Donations of twin sheet sets can be dropped off in the Gathering Space this weekend. Monetary donations can be sent to the Knights of Columbus care of St. Thomas More.
