🇺🇸🎆 We're Bringing It All Back! 🎆🇺🇸

The traditional Fourth of July games are coming out of the 15-year-old vault, and you do not want to miss the excitement!

Join us at Ottawa Baptist Church on Saturday, July 4th, for a day packed with competitive spirit, fellowship, laughter, and good old-fashioned fun as we celebrate our faith, our community, and our nation. As we gather together, we'll reflect Christ's love while showing appreciation for the freedoms and blessings we've enjoyed throughout America's 250-year history.

🏆 Games begin promptly at 12:00 PM.

To encourage conversation, fellowship, and meeting new friends, partner events will have randomly selected teammates. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just looking to have fun, there's something for everyone!

👧👦 Children will enjoy:�• Playground access�• Inflatable fun�• Water balloon tosses�• Egg races�• Junior League Co****le Division

🎯 Participation Guidelines:
All competitive events (Croquet, Shuffleboard, Horseshoes, Co****le, and Volleyball) are open to participants ages 15 and older.

Younger participants are encouraged to join our Junior League Co****le Division, Water Balloon Tosses, Egg Races, enjoy the inflatable, and spend time on the playground throughout the day. We want everyone to have opportunities for fun, fellowship, and friendly competition!

Partner events will feature randomly selected teammates to encourage conversation, fellowship, and building new friendships across generations of our church family.
This fits naturally into your post and helps clearly distinguish the adult competition events from the children's activities.

🏅 Winners of each event will be recognized, and commemorative t-shirts will be awarded at a later date to ensure proper sizing.

🍉 IMPORTANT: Please eat before you come or bring snacks to enjoy throughout the afternoon. Our church-wide meal will not be served until 6:00 PM. This is a full day of games, fellowship, and friendly competition, so plan accordingly!

Come spend the day celebrating Jesus, America, and the blessings of fellowship with us. Bring your family, invite your friends, and prepare for an unforgettable Fourth of July!

What a wonderful final night of Vacation Bible School as we celebrated Family Night and wrapped up an incredible week together!

As God has been shining His light on us all week long, He even painted the sky with a beautiful rainbow😉❤️ —a reminder that His promises are faithful, everlasting, and true. 🌈✨

We are so thankful for every volunteer, teacher, leader, helper, donor, prayer warrior, and family who made this week possible. Every act of service, whether seen or unseen, played an important part in making VBS a success. No contribution is ever too small when it comes to sharing the love of Jesus with children.

Thank you for helping create a week filled with worship, laughter, learning, friendships, and memories that will last for years to come. Our prayer is that the light of Christ continues to shine brightly in the hearts of every child and family who joined us at Illumination Station.

✨💡 Illumination Station VBS – What an Incredible Week! 💡✨
As we wrapped up Day 4 of Illumination Station, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for all God has done this week. From worship and Bible lessons to games, crafts, music, and laughter, this has truly been one of the most amazing VBS experiences we've ever had!

💜 Day 4 – Inside-Out Day
Our children learned that Jesus is the Proven Son of God through the powerful story of His death and resurrection (Mark 14:43–16:7). We discovered that Jesus didn't stay in the grave—He rose again! Because Jesus is alive, we can have forgiveness, hope, and eternal life. Just as our clothes were turned inside out, we learned that Jesus changes us from the inside out when we trust Him.

✨ Daily Point: Jesus is the Proven Son of God.

💡 Day 5 – Neon Glow Day
We will finish our week by learning about Peter preaching the Good News in Acts 2. Our families will discover that Jesus is God's Plan for Forgiveness and that because of Jesus, everyone has the opportunity to receive God's grace and salvation. We challenge our kids to shine brightly for Jesus and share His love with others wherever they go.

🌟 We are so thankful for every child, volunteer, teacher, parent, and church member who helped make Illumination Station a tremendous success. We have watched children worship, learn, grow, laugh, and hear the truth of who Jesus really is. The light of Christ has shined brightly this week, and we praise God for every seed that has been planted.

🎉 VBS Family Night is THURSDAY! 🎉

Every child MUST be accompanied by an adult for Family Night.

Since there will be water play, please bring with you a change of clothes and a towel for your child.

We will begin at 6:00 PM with worship and a short devotion as we wrap up an incredible week at Illumination Station VBS and celebrate all that God has done!

Following dismissal, we'll head to the picnic shelter for:
🍕 Pizza
🏰 Inflatable
💦 Water Play
☀️ Fun and Fellowship

We can't wait to celebrate with our VBS families and finish the week shining the light of Jesus together! ✨

🌈 VBS Night 2 Recap – Mismatched Socks Day! 🧦

What a fantastic second night at Illumination Station VBS! Ottawa was filled with colorful, crazy socks and smiling faces as we learned that Jesus is God's Perfect Son.

Through the story of Jesus' baptism in Matthew 3:13-17, Mark 1:1-11, and John 1:29-34, we discovered that Jesus wasn't just an ordinary man—He is the perfect Son of God who came to save the world. While all of us make mistakes, Jesus never sinned. He lived a perfect life and showed us exactly who God is.

✨ Theme for the Night:
Jesus is God's Perfect Son
Our children learned that even when life feels mixed up, confusing, or messy—just like mismatched socks—we can always trust Jesus because He is perfect and never changes.

🦸 Tomorrow Night: Superhero Day! 🦸
Put on your favorite superhero shirt, cape, or costume and get ready for an action-packed night as we learn that Jesus is the Powerful Son of God!

📖 Bible Story:
Jesus Performed Miracles
Matthew 15:29-39
We'll discover that Jesus is more powerful than any superhero we can imagine! Through His miracles, Jesus showed that He has power over sickness, hunger, nature, and every situation we face.

✨ Theme for the Night:
Jesus is the Powerful Son of God
We'll answer the question:
"Was Jesus just a teacher?"
No! Everything Jesus said and did showed that He is the powerful Son of God.

We can't wait to see all of our superheroes tomorrow night from 6:00–8:30 PM as we continue shining a light on who Jesus really is! 💡✨
