A pastor who loves Jesus, loves his church, and isn’t afraid to take a few pies to the face for a great cause is a blessing.

To wrap up an amazing week of VBS, we had a Girls vs. Boys competition to raise money for Sunrise Children’s Services.

The girls won, which meant Pastor Anthony made good on his promise and got pied quite a few times!

We are so thankful the Lord led you to our church. Thank you for loving our church family so well.

Thank you, Pastor, for never being afraid to have a little fun with us. Seeing you laugh alongside the kids and be willing to take a pie to the face for a good cause is just one more reminder of how much you care about this church and our community.

We are thankful God brought you to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
