We would like to invite all Mt.Pleasant Members, family and friends to our evening service today. We will have a special service of "The hanging of the Christmas Greens".
We will be preparing and decorating the sanctuary in preparation for the Christmas Season.
I want to also remind you that we will have memorial ornaments available not only today but this week for you to be able to place a photo of your loved one you would like to remember or "adopt" a passed member who may not have any family attending now .
We want to do this in not only remembrance of these God fearing , wonderful souls but to also keep the beautiful history alive in our church .
We hope to see your smiling facing this evening.

Join us this coming Sunday! Matt Bryant will be our guest preacher! Here’s a little background on Matt..

A third-generation preacher and full-time police officer, Matt Bryant preached his first sermon inside the local jail in 2001, believing that no matter what someone’s circumstances, the Gospel of Jesus Christ can change lives. Matt accepted Christ as his savior when he was eight years old, being led to the Lord and baptized by his father and pastor, Bro. Mike Bryant, at Scaffold Cane Baptist Church. Matt loves God and loves people and enjoys teaching and preaching the Word of God. His blend of life and work experience and desire to see people transformed by an encounter with Jesus has provided him with unique opportunities to speak into other’s lives. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Justice Administration, both from the University of the Cumberlands. He currently serves as the Detective Lieutenant for the Criminal Investigation Division of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
Matt and his wife Holly make their home in Mount Vernon with their four sons, Grant, Garrett, and twins Lincoln and Sawyer. He and his sons are all avid hunters and bass fishermen.
