Today is announcement Sunday in the United Methodist Church. Clergy are appointed for one year at a time.

I am delighted to announce that I have been reappointed to serve the two wonderful churches of Oak Forest and Hickory Stand for another year. I am very excited about what God is doing with us and look forward to another great year together!

Looking for a Sunrise Service on Easter? Update: Due to the predicted heavy rains tonight into tomorrow morning, the service has been moved to the Chapel at the Hinton Center instead of their Lakeside Pavilion. The service will still begin at 6:45 AM.
