Many men fail God when they're merely working for Him. But no one fails when they're walking with Him. Embracing this connection provides the resources to be a better Christian, husband, father, and pastor. Let's choose to walk with God.

Working for God and walking with God — two very different things. 🙏

Samuel was in the temple every day. He was doing the work. But 1 Samuel 3:7 tells us he did not yet know the Lord personally.

It's possible to be busy in the things of God while growing distant from the voice of God.

"Many men failed God working for God. But no man has ever failed God walking with God." — T.W. Barnes

Our first calling — before every title, every role, every responsibility — is simply to be His.

Before father. Before husband. Before leader. We are called to be children of God.

And that well? It never runs dry. But we have to keep coming back to it.

Happy Father's Day to every man who is striving to walk with God first. 💙

"There is only one race — the human race." 🌍

The gospel wasn't designed for a select few. Jews. Samaritans. Every nation, tongue, and culture — God said, "I want them all."

Philip preached it. Ananias lived it. The early church spread it — even through persecution.

And the same calling rests on us today.

"God is no respecter of persons." (Acts 10:34)

Touch those within your reach. That's where it starts. ✨

What a wonderful Father’s Day at Hatchbend Apostolic Church! ❤️
We were blessed to honor the fathers in our church family and enjoy a great time of fellowship together.

Today's messages challenged and encouraged us as we considered the voices that influence our lives and the importance of keeping our priorities in order. We were reminded that our greatest calling is to be:

✅ A good Christian
✅ A good father
✅ A good husband
✅ A faithful pastor

In a world filled with competing voices, God's voice must remain the loudest and most important influence in our lives.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped make Father's Day special. We pray God's blessings upon every father and family represented.

Abigail saw what David couldn't see in that moment — that a future king couldn't afford to enter his kingdom with blood on his hands.

She interceded. She spoke truth. She changed the outcome of an entire story.

God still uses voices of wisdom to stop us in our tracks. Are we listening? 👂

There are times we don't understand God's plan, can't hear His voice, or feel His silence. Life won't always make sense, and prayers may seem unanswered. But we have to keep walking through it.
