We believe that "God is still speaking" and that a church can nourish your mind as well as your soul. We are a United Church of Christ congregation, with roots in the Congregational tradition of the Mayflower pilgrims. Throughout our nation's history we have been a church of bold "first-stands" for justice. Currently, our record of welcoming GLBT folk as an "Open and Affirming Church" makes some f

olks scratch their heads and others accuse us of not being really Christian. But that's what people said when our church took a stand against slavery in the colonial days, and ordained a woman pastor in the 1850's. But it's not about being first, it's about being faithful to God who calls us to make a place at the table for all who will come. What does God require of us, but to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly?
