The Parish of St. Teresa of Calcutta is a Roman Catholic parish formed on July 1st, 2018 by uniting the Church of the Ascension, Bradley Beach, with St.

Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Avon by the Sea.

Reminder! Calling all Catholic Young Adults! Join our Jersey Shore Catholics Young Adult Group tomorrow night (Wed. 06/10) for a night of fellowship. We will meet at 6:30 PM at Ascension Church, Bradley Beach for Adoration & praying the Rosary. After our hour of prayer, we will meet at the Bradley Beach Gazebo (31 Ocean Ave N) for a Bible Study on Romans 8:1-12. Bring a beach chair! In the event of inclement weather, the Bible Study will be held at O’Hara Hall.

On Mother’s Day this Sunday May 10th-, at the end of Mass Mary’s Child will be selling roses for $3.00 a Rose to help support Madonna House and Youth for Life. Please help us with these 2 great charities by purchasing a rose....and also make your mother or wife smile! Win. Win.

Our envelope company, Cathedral Corporation, has once again informed us of a delayed mailing. This will result in the late delivery of the mailing. There is one collection this weekend for May 3rd. Please use a blank envelope and be sure to put your name, envelope #, and amount on it to ensure proper credit of your donation. Thank you for your understanding of this matter.

Today our children received First Holy Communion, a sacred step in their journey of faith.
Their dedication and preparation have been inspiring, and we are filled with joy watching them grow closer to Christ. May God bless them and may the “Son” always shine on them!

Just a reminder, we’ll be having our annual Penance Service tonight at Ascension from 5-6pm. Our topic will be, The Spirituality of the Desert Fathers: Solitude. Fr. Sadsheesh and Fr. Brown will be available for confession after the presentation.

The second collection will be taken for Easter Flowers donations if you choose to donate. I have heard that some people are receiving the envelopes in the mail today.
