God is doing a NEW thing in Ocean Grove in the off-season!
With deep roots going back over 150 years, Ocean Grove built a firm foundation creating “God’s Square Mile” at the Jersey Shore. What started as a plot of woods, was turned into a place for Jesus seekers and worshippers. The original visitors came from all over the country, set up tents in the summer, and created programs to know and grow in Jesus. A seasonal community was formed, and the mission became more refined - a place to provide spiritual birth, growth, and renewal in Jesus, through worship, education and cultural programs in a seaside setting. Over the years, buildings and homes were built, a campus was refined, and “God’s square mile” became a place of both refuge and celebration. Walking into the Great Auditorium will take your breath away… a platform shared by 7 Presidents, countless worship services by major Christian artists and speakers from Billy Graham to Hellen Keller. The song “Great is Thy Faithfulness” was written on this sacred ground after being inspired by God’s presence in Ocean Grove.
And now… God is doing a NEW THING!
Over 150 years, a town has been built around this ministry and the desire to expand into a year-round ministry to reach the local community has been a goal.
We are thrilled to announce that Ocean Grove Ministries will now offer “off season” year round events, conferences, retreats, seminars, and programs, open to ALL - in Ocean Grove and beyond!
