Smells in scripture carry a deep significance as we see them often associated with offering and sacrifice. In the Old Testament, the Lord commanded offerings that would produce pleasing aromas. Jesus Himself was compared to a fragrant aroma by Paul. That leads to the question - what do we smell like? What is within us that seeps outward for others to “smell”? Although it may not be something we think about very much, it is something that identifies who we are as a follower of Christ. Join us Sunday as we look at living a life that smells like Holy Spirit!

Each person goes through a maturing process in life that changes and develops us into adults. From the clothes we wear and choices we make, all the way to the menu we order from at restaurants. A similar process can happen (and should happen) spiritually, but if we are passive in our approach, we'll continue to eat from the kids menu when we should be eating from the adult menu. Join us tomorrow as continue our Common Senses, Uncommon Faith series with an exploration of eating from the menu of maturity!

Today we remember and honor those who have given the greatest sacrifice for the freedoms of our country. Today we pray for their families, along with all of those currently serving to keep America free!

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our friend, Bill Tosten, but we know he had an amazing homecoming and is with Jesus his Savior. Services will be held at the church this weekend, with a viewing for friends and family Friday, May 1st, 5-8pm, and a funeral service Saturday, May 2nd, at 11am. A gathering with food and fellowship will be held at the church following the graveside service. The church address is 18310 Breathedsville Rd. Boonsboro, MD 21713.

Brother Bill remains in critical condition. We want to support them with prayer, love, and practical care. Please help support Bill’s family at this time by signing up to provide a meal and sharing the link. And continue to keep Bill and his entire family lifted up in prayer.

Thousands would crowd to hear Jesus teach and receive His healing touch. Hundreds said they would follow Him and shouted "Hosanna!" as He entered Jerusalem. Fewer still remained with Him as He challenged the religious leaders. Even some of His own disciples turned away as He was arrested, beaten, and crucified. It culminated in a final countdown to zero that seemed like the end for Jesus and His followers. But the diminishing numbers were leading to something more significant than the world had ever known. Join us Sunday as we see how zero does not mean nothing, it means everything!
