Happy Monday!!!

What a beautiful day to be a child of God! When the apostle Paul was locked up in prison, he counted it all joy and continued the ministry even from a jail cell. Some of Paul’s best work comes to us in the form of his letters.

Each and every soul in hell wishes for the opportunity that you have today, the opportunity to come to know Christ. Because as they suffer, they know that God is real, that Gods word is real and that Heaven is real. Unfortunately for them, they know all too well that hell is also real.

Today let us count it as all joy that our Father in Heaven has given us another day to do His will. May we keep our focus on Him, do His good work by sowing seeds and leading the lost to Christ, and keep our eyes on the prize!!!

Happy Wednesday!!

When you’re down, do you have a friend that you turn to? Do you have that special someone who can relate to what you’re going through?

Do you sometimes just need someone to listen?

I know a man…. our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is listening. He understands what you’re going through and is there to give you and lending hand.

Instead of turning to alcohol or drugs or gossip or the blame game, how about we listen to what Jesus has in store for us. Be still and know that Jesus has the answers…

Happy Tuesday!!

The apostle Paul said to not be anxious for anything but in all things with prayer and supplication.

We cannot help but to sometimes get caught up in the anxiousness of the things happening around us, but we also need to continuously rely on the Father in Heaven, who knows our thoughts before we even think them.

As long as we rely on Him, what’s the worst that can happen?

Because God is good, all the time, and all the time, God is good!!!

Happy Memorial Day!!

Today we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice of life defending a belief that all should be free from tyranny and have the ability to live in peace.

As we gather for burgers and hotdogs, as we hit the beach or the pool, as we ride the side by side on the back roads, let us remember that today is not about an extra day off. Let us remember those who made that sacrifice and the families who feel that loss each and every day.

Say a prayer for those who don’t get to celebrate with their loved ones who have passed on in their duty.

Let us first remember the One who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our souls, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He literally gave everything in order to save our eternal souls. Let us praise Him today and give Him the glory, for He is worthy.

Happy Saturday!!!

In Genesis chapter 8, Noah sent forth a dove out of the ark. And the dove came to him in the evening; and lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth….

In our lives, there are storms, and there are floods. We know the storms will pass, eventually. But when we’re in the flood, some forget that the God of the mountain is still God in the valley. Be patient, be still and wait for God who created you from the dust. The same God who created every star in the heavens and who created the oceans and the earth, cares for YOU, yes you!! God loves you and wants you to be happy.

If we rely on Him, the dove will bring that olive leaf to you.

Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart.

Happy Wednesday!

What a beautiful day the Lord has given us. Rain is a gift from God and we already know that when it comes from the Father, it’s good.

Let us praise His name today. Let us worship Him in ALL things and ALL places. Let us have the boldness of Stephen today to speak truth into this world, the truth of salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

In the book of Acts, chapter 3, Peter tells the folks in the temple that God raised up His Son Jesus, and sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

If we are truly children of God, in the family of Christ, let’s turn away from our own iniquity today, let us make it a point to turn away from sin and stand up for our Lord and Savior each and every day.

Today will truly be a wonderful day in the Lord.
