Mandy Eickhoff Gleissner's Story:

Mine starts 9 years ago when my husband, at the age of 26, developed congestive heart failure. Since then he has had 2 heart pumps and a pace maker. When I tell people about my story, I let them know I was never alone. Jesus was always there - leading, guiding and comforting. I never ever thought I was alone. It is an amazing feeling!!! We are working towards him getting a new heart. In the midst of this, my oldest son needed surgery to remove bone growing into his spinal cord. (Of course, this is a very condensed version of what we have experienced.) God has always been there and always will be. My family and I THRIVE because of Him!!!
