Apple Pie Enchiladas - Incredibly easy to make and are Out Of This World Good!
Ingredients:
1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 (8 inch) flour tortillas - store bought is great for this, Just be sure to buy Flour Tortillas
Directions:
1. Spoon about one heaping quarter cup of pie filling evenly down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with cinnamon and roll up, tucking in edges; and place seam side down in prepared dish.
2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes, remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
3. Pour sauce over enchiladas and let stand 45 minutes.
Note: Don't rush the 45 minute resting time for the sauce on the enchiladas before baking, this step helps to magically transform the flour tortillas into a faux pasty dough.
4. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, or until golden.

Jeff Foxworthy once said, ā€œHere’s your sign!ā€ Well folks, here’s your sign.

Romans 2:12-15, ā€œWhen the Gentiles sin, they will be destroyed, even though they never had God’s written law. And the Jews, who do have God’s law, will be judged by that law when they fail to obey it. For merely listening to the law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying the law that makes us right in his sight. Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it. They demonstrate God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.ā€

It’s amazing at how the Gentiles knows what is right, and they don’t even have or ever heard God’s law. But, we have God’s law, his Holy Word, and we still ignore it and rebel.

Here’s you another sign.

Romans 2:23-24, ā€œYou are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it. No wonder the Scripture says, ā€˜The Gentiles blaspheme the name of God because of you.ā€™ā€ If you claim to be one of God’s people, your life should reflect what God is like. When you disobey God, you dishonor his name. People may even blaspheme or profane God’s name because of you. What do people think about God as they watch your life?

Here’s you another sign.

Romans 2:28-29, ā€œFor you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.ā€

Just because you grew up in church, taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, that doesn’t make you a Christian. Your heart must change for you to become a Christian.

May God bless your soul.

Just cleaning up one’s life without filling it with God leaves plenty of room for Satan to enter.

Matthew 12:43-45, ā€œWhen am evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. Then it says, ā€˜I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation.ā€

You may stop drinking, partying, doing drugs, gambling, gossiping, stealing, complaining, but not replacing ā€œthat highā€ with Jesus will cause you to become more tempted by Satan than before.

You hear the rich say, ā€œI can have anything I want, but I’m still not satisfied.ā€ The reason is, is because there is something missing that things can’t make better. There is a hole in each of us that only Jesus can fill. Not filling that hole with Jesus only leaves the wound open for infection to set on.

Ridding our life of sin is the first step. We must also take the second step: filling our life with God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. Unfilled and complacent people are easy targets for Satan.
