What an incredible morning at St Helenas. Amazing cooks to feed a packed house at Breakfast Fellowship, celebrating a baptism at 11, blessing birthdays, and anniversaries, growing our CS Lewis book study, and a very successful acolyte training.

DID YOU KNOW ST. HELENA’S WAS THE FIRST CHURCH BUILT WITHIN BOERNE’S CITY LIMITS? ⛪

St. Helena's has been part of Boerne’s story for over a century. The original wooden building from 1881 was replaced in 1929 with the limestone sanctuary that still stands today — built by hand during a time of economic hardship, thanks to the determination of the parish and the Women of St. Helena’s who led major fundraising efforts.

Nearly 100 years later, it remains one of Boerne’s most beautiful and enduring landmarks , a true reflection of faith, craftsmanship, and community spirit. And it’s one of our favorite buildings in town! For clarity, St. Peter the Apostle Church was the first church built in town, but it was built on the hill south of the creek, which was technically outside of town at the time.
