Scripture Sunday! 📖🙏✝️

Matthew 13:31-35 contains two parables told by Jesus: the kingdom of heaven is compared to a mustard seed, which is the smallest of seeds but grows into a large tree, and yeast that a woman mixes into flour until it leavens the whole batch. These parables illustrate how small beginnings can lead to significant outcomes and the transformative power of God's kingdom, starting from humble beginnings and expanding to impact many.

Scripture Sunday!! 📖✝️❤️

Luke 14:15-24 contains the Parable of the Great Banquet, where a man prepares a feast and invites many guests, but they make excuses and do not come. As a result, the master sends his servant to invite the poor and marginalized, emphasizing that the invitation to God's kingdom is open to all, especially those who are often overlooked.

This parable serves as a reminder of the importance of responding to God's call and the consequences of making excuses.

Scripture Sunday 📖✝️❤️

Mark 9:14-29
This passage describes an incident where Jesus heals a boy possessed by an impure spirit after his disciples were unable to do so. Jesus explains that this kind of spirit can only be driven out by prayer.

Jesus told the official, “Go; your son will live,” and the man believed when he learned his son recovered at that exact moment.

This passage highlights the themes of faith and the power of Jesus' words, demonstrating that belief in him can lead to miraculous outcomes. The royal official's faith is a central element, as he trusts Jesus despite not witnessing the healing firsthand.

In John 4:39–42, many Samaritans from the town believed in Jesus because of the woman’s testimony. They then urged Jesus to stay with them, and after hearing his words for themselves, they said they knew he really is the Savior of the world.
