Faithfulness, with what God has entrusted us, it isn't just about being faithful with our money, about putting our money in the offering plate on Sunday morning. Faithfulness looks like countless everyday small acts of obedience to what God has called us to do, to take care of the things that he has freely given us.

The Backyard at FUMC is open to everyone! 🍂🫶🏻 Their sign says it best: “Come on in and play!”

Behind the green house at 207 E. Theissen St., you’ll find yard games, picnic tables, a labyrinth to walk, and hay bales where you can sit and snap some fall pictures. Pack a picnic, bring the kids, and enjoy this sweet space right here in Boerne!

🎃 The Backyard will also be part of FUMC’s Halloween Festival:

🍬 Trunk-or-treating, inflatables, games and activities
🌭 Free dinner
🍧 Chloe Bell’s Shaved Ice onsite
🎟️ Free admission!

The festival is at First United Methodist Church, 205 James St., with The Backyard across the street on Theissen. Come in costume and enjoy some family fun before heading out for more trick-or-treating!

Boerne, The Backyard at First United Methodist Church is ready for you! We’ve brought all the fun from the pumpkin patch and put it in our new backyard for you to come and enjoy. Located off the corner of Theissen and Pecan, it’s the perfect stop on your way to/from Main Street. Come out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather! 🍂🍁🍃

FUMC Boerne put their faith in action today during our church work day. Such a beautiful day with beautiful people giving up their Saturday to get the Wesley House and Backyard ready for the community!
