For September, we are turning to the book of Philippians, perhaps the most joyful book in the Bible. Depending on your translation, the words “joy” and “rejoice” appear approximately 16 times. Paul had great affection for the Philippians and held them in high esteem. Starting now, I encourage you to read one chapter of Philippians each week.

Philippians 1:3-6
3 I thank my God every time I remember you.
4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

SUNDAYS 5 - 6 PM

Bluffton Youth Fellowship (BYF) begins September 20, 2026, and will meet on Sundays from 5-6 PM in the Christian Education Room. We will alternate lessons, service projects and game nights for the ultimate in fun and fellowship while growing our faith!

ALL YOUTH 6* - 12 grades are welcome and bring your friends - it’s not just for church members!

KIDS PRAISE CHOIR (KPC) STARTS SEPTEMBER 6!
Sundays 4-4:45 PM

Each Sunday at 4 PM, starting September 6, 2026, we will gather in the Music Suite for 45 minutes of fun, faith and fellowship! Our time together will include an activity/lesson and learning songs all about God’s Creation! All children from kindergarten through 5” grade are welcome and it’s not just for church members, bring friends! Parents are welcome to stay, enjoy quiet time or fellowship with other parents, or help prepare craft activities for future weeks!

Financial Administrator (Part-Time)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Financial Administrator to support the financial ministry of our church.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing confidential financial
information, and helping ensure the church’s financial operations run smoothly.

The Financial Administrator works closely with the Church Treasurer, Senior Pastor, and Administrative Assistant as part of a collaborative team. This is a year-
round, part-time salaried exempt position without benefits. Workdays and hours are flexible and will be arranged with the Senior Pastor.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting with at least five years of accounting experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating the knowledge and skills needed for
the position.
• Experience with budget preparation, designated funds, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, Church Windows, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), VANCO Online Giving, Gusto Payroll, AAtrix
• E-file, and Gmail and any other necessary software.

Requirements:
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
• Completion of Safe Sanctuary Training.
• Successful background and credit check

I am looking forward to worshipping together with you in one service at 10:00 AM.

Please remind your friends and neighbors that we will have only one service this week. I am so concerned for those who might show up at either 8:30 or 11 and miss it.

After worship, we will enjoy a time of fellowship over a potluck lunch.
