Here’s a little sneak peek 👀 of all the decorations that are coming together around the church. So many hands have been hard at work transforming our space into something special for the kids!

Wrap up a vibrant week of VBS with a fun-filled celebration on Sunday, June 28th from 10 AM – 1 PM!
✨ Here’s what to expect:

Delicious food trucks on-site
Free snacks for young children near the Church’s side entrance
Open playgrounds for kids to enjoy

Refreshing lemonade and great fellowship with fellow parishioners

We hope many of you are serving during VBS, but don't worry—we haven't forgotten about you! Join us for Middle School SwimTalks as we gather for swimming, food, fellowship, and time in God's Word.

The Women of Hope Leadership Team would love for you to join us for an evening of fellowship, music, and fun at the Colonial Farms Music in the Gardens free concert series!

Youth and Family Mexico, Mission trip day six. Again, we are humbled and grateful for the many prayers that were showered over us over this past week and beyond. Despite dealing with some rain and wet roads along the way today, we arrived safely back to Timothy. We do continue prayers for one of our families that was driving separately and will be getting home later this evening. We covered over 1800 miles and sat in our own car driving for over 27 hours. A lot of time for fellowship and lots of time for naps. I want to give a big shout out to the other two drivers; Chris Siegel and Carrie Hochgrebe  who drove the whole way down to the border and back. Lots of moments and memories but most importantly the Lord was transforming both our lives and those whom we served. Feel free to ask anyone on the team how they were kingdom stretched over the past week. We’d love to share our stories.

Youth and Family Mexico, Mission Trip day five. As we head out of Mexico today we remain grateful for all that God has done through us and for us. We crossed the border safely. Our bodies and minds are tired (I think everyone of the youth spent some time napping on the ride back,) but are hearts are abundantly full. I am so very grateful for our adults who have served our youth, given so much, and put in a lot of miles on the road. our youth are in good hands. This evening before we headed to bed, we spent time unpacking many of the ways that God has been stretching us.  Again thanks for praying alongside of us in this journey. We asked for more prayers of safe travel on our last day back to Blue Springs. Looks like there’ll be a lot of weather to navigate through.

Mexico youth and family mission trip day 4. They said it couldn’t be done…but by the grace of God we did it. We finished the house with some great help from some local pastors and our missionary leaders. It was a 13 hour day so we are wiped out. Before we left the site though, we prayed over the family, the home and shared a Bible with the family. A lot of joy and plenty of stories to share. We will be heading back to the states tomorrow and then we begin our trek home. Prayers for safe travel and lasting moments of Gods grace!

Youth and Family Mexico, Mission trip day three. We had a full 12 hour day working on the site. After a great breakfast, we headed out as the sun was rising. We built all the frames for the house and we’re able to pour concrete as well. The house structure by the end of the day was put up and we have inside and outside and roof work to work on tomorrow. We are on track so far. Some of the highlights from today were that the community came together and brought us an amazing homemade lunch of tamales, stew, and rice. We also were able to spend time with other people in the community as they came to see what was happening. Even though there was a language barrier our team laughed, rejoiced, and prayed with them. Prayers for tomorrow: hydration, another good work day, wellness, and more relationship building. Thank you all for your support!!!

Family and youth Mexico, Mission day two. We made the rest of our trek to Del Rio and crossed the border early! Our team was excited to get going and so even though we weren’t supposed to start building today.m, we got out on the site to start for a couple hours before dinner. We were eager to bless the Ojeda family. The team did absolutely great. We stayed hydrated and got the base ready to pour concrete tomorrow. As well as as much of the wood cut to start building the frame. We are just about to start devotion time and clean up and then we’ll be too early and an early rise for day three. Prayer request for endurance and refreshment on a full day of working on the job site.
