OUR MINISTRY PHILOSOPHY:
We desire to be a church that balances the five purposes that Jesus gave to the church in the New Testament.
It is our objective to give priority to worship by providing resources to educate and inspire individual, family, and corporate worship experiences. Worship is normally thought of as the music portion of a worship service, but it is so much more. Worship is prayer, reading the Bible, obeying God, giving, building relationships with other Christians, sharing our faith, and serving others. Connect with Others
Fellowship is developing a dependence on God and each other. It is our objective to promote Biblical fellowship in the church by providing a friendly atmosphere of openness and acceptance for our guests and members. Fellowship is not just casual conversation, socializing, food, and fun, but rather, real fellowship is experiencing life together. It includes unselfish loving, practical serving, sacrificial giving, sympathetic comforting, and all the “one another” commands found in the New Testament. Grow in the Faith
Discipleship is taking on the life and practices of Jesus. There are simple steps to guide you in your spiritual journey of maturity. First, a growing Christian needs to spend time daily with God. Second, every growing Christian needs to talk with God. Next, God wants us to learn how to give. And finally, we need to meet together with other Christians regularly. The miracle of the Bible’s plan for spiritual maturity is that it can be followed by anyone, in any stage of life. Serve
Ministry is using our spiritual gifts to build one another up. It is our objective to involve each church member in ministry opportunities within the church by helping them to discover and understand their spiritual gifts. Each member of our family should be involved in a ministry opportunity in our church. Share Our Faith
Evangelism is reaching those who are without Christ. At Pines Community Christian Church, we train and equip each member of our family to reach the lost for Christ.
