Good morning, Facebook Family!
I hope all of you in the Midwest, especially the Southwest will be safe throughout this snow. event.
It was an unusual Saturday morning with everybody home and not going to work, so we decided to make breakfast. The scrambled eggs, pancakes, and bacon really hit the spot!
Some recent donations are going to allow us to upgrade the minivan I use for shuttling guys to work.
I will post pictures when we find one. It will come in very handy since we will be at capacity within the next couple of months.

Merry Christmas, RC Family and Friends!
We got to go to Silver Dollar City last Friday to see the lights. Then, on Tuesday evening was Christmas at the Center.

Good morning, RC Family!
What a great celebration we had for our 35th Reunion. It was a full house. I've heard from so many people that every part of the service was perfect. After having 275 plus on the property, Monday morning we woke up to no water. An apparent lightning strike from days before compromised the pump. We are so thankful for the grace of God that keep that 25 year old pump working long enough to have water for Sunday services. By Tuesday afternoon, a new pump was installed and the Center back in business. (I felt like flushing the toilet 5 or 6 times in a row!)

Today is the big day!
35 year NLRC reunion celebration is here.
Thanks to everyone and help get the property ready and those that are going to help me today and tomorrow. Looking forward to great fellowship with friends and family. Also, also anticipating a tremendous service tomorrow with our speaker, James Payne.

Good morning RC family and friends!
What a few weeks of craziness trying to the property ready for the Reunion Celebration. Everyone here has been working hard and I'm thankful for a few more days to put the finishing touches inside on the Charity Home and get the grounds in better shape. Bosco and Bailey are looking forward to seeing you and barking at your arrival. However, they have not been helping with the work except chasing a few squirrels!
Hope you can make it for Open House or Sunday service.

Good day, RC Family!
35-year Reunion Celebration is getting closer by the day.(9/27 & 28) As you can see, the flooring guys showed up today. After 28 years, we decided to retire the carpet. The other pictures were us getting ready for them to come - all the demo and repainting that had to be done before the floor went down. It is going to look so good. It was much needed. The dorm rooms probably need a little help, but that'll be another project in the future.

Good evening, Family and Friends!
We had a great bunch of volunteers from the church to help me get the top floor of the Charity Home ready for new vinyl flooring for the 35 year Reunion.
NLRC grads plus a couple others showed up and wasted no time getting the floor ready. They also cleaned up at the dinner table 🙂. Jerry Haynes Memorial Blvd got a fresh coat of sealer. Cracks filled and 2 applications.
One more major project completed before the 35 yr Reunion Celebration. Next up - vinyl in the top floor of the Charity Home.

Out with the old, in with the new! Well, not necessarily new but a really good used unit. This is a lot more convenient for Christy to organize donations. So thankful a local ministry made this available to us.

Good morning RC family and friends!
What a great day yesterday! A beautiful wedding and a wonderful couple. I was privileged to marry Aaron and Regina in The Pavilion at the Center. Aaron came to the program 3 years ago and stayed on as staff after graduation. He's been a tremendous help and will be missed.
It's actually been a pretty busy couple of months. May 24th was another wedding and then last week a young couple in the church became parents. This will be a special Father's Day for this RC grad.
Fyi - this year we celebrate 35 years in operation. Save the date, September 27th & 28th.
